I went here for a work thing. It was a lot nicer than I expected it to be. The tables are all touchscreens and you can order drinks to your seat from the touchscreen tables. Smart idea, just poorly executed. The touchscreen table wasn’t working properly and every time I typed it selected the wrong keys. Fun evening, cool place. Perfect for digital technology enthusiasts.

I did not have a good time here. To start with I just wasn’t in the mood for partying the night I came here. But this place just lacks ambiance and the drinks were that of a typical West End price tag. It is designed very retro chic, the white walls are covered with flashing projected images and the constant changing coloured lights were a distraction. It wasn’t as big as I thought it would be, and quite packed and unpleasant at some point. I think you definitely need to be up for it if you are to really enjoy yourself here.

I went to 24 for a friends 20th birthday last year. It is one of those clubs in the china white mould that had some brief moment of being an ‘it club’ for the rich and tasteless. The inside is very white and has a long bar area, a small dance floor, with several large booth style seating areas at the back. As you might expect it is pretty expensive, though the bar is well-stocked and the staff, including the bouncers, are amiable and professional. It is not a bad place just fairly soulless. The music when I went was particularly r’n’b generic. I can understand people wanting to go somewhere and splash some cash with other young, wealthy, attractive people but the place is just so unremarkable there is nothing to really sustain it beyond its moment of celebrity.
