A long-​term feature on New Malden High Street, a visit to this department store is akin to time travel. Quite a curiosity as soon as you step through the entrance you’ll be transported back several decades. The ground floor has a small beauty hall along with crockery, handbags and accessories.
Upstairs there are housewares, beds and bed linens. The fashion department is definitely focused more towards traditionalists than fashionistas. On the top floor you’ll find the café, perfect for fans of nostalgia.
The ethos of the store is good old-​fashioned service, reasonable prices and reputable products. An extraordinary contrast to the modern mainstream it’s still a family-​owned store. A rarity that has remained true to its origins with a faithful local clientele.

Great local family run department store with a good range of reasonable priced merchandise. Especially good for beds/​furniture and linens. A small but good quality Lighting department and a very useful haberdashery department. Some surprisingly high quality glassware and gifts. Good quality menswear and a wide range of ladies fashions including hosiery, handbags and luggage. A cosmetics department with the likes of Clarins and Lancome. The lingerie department is excellent with a great fitting service. The staff are courteous and well informed and when you get tired, there is a coffee shop to help restore the senses.
