Travelodge Clapham Junction

No encontrarás diferencias en las habitaciones de este hotel con las de otro de esta cadena británica. La recepción 24h es muy pequeña y puede que no te encuentres con el recepcionista ya que incluso podrías hacer el check-​in en una máquina que tienen habilitada en la entrada. Para pasar a los ascensores que dan acceso a la zona de habitaciones necesitas la tarjeta de la habitación.
Las habitaciones son justas para dormir y dejar la maleta además por regla general cuentan con un armario abierto, una tele decente y un baño con toallas y gel. Un detalle de agradecer es que siempre te ponen café, té y leche al lado de tu kettle.
Su principal ventaja y desventaja es la cercanía a la estación de trenes del Clapham Junction, la clara desventaja es el ruido que provoca dicha estación si tienes la ventana abierta, pero por todo lo demás es un hotel que está muy bien y que es una opción muy barata si quieres ir a Londres (ya que en tren se tarda poco en llegar al centro).

This guy is quite a new addition to Travelodge, and it was fairly good. It’s definitely cheaper than the Travelodges more central, but has Clapham Junction literally across the road from it, which has trains to Waterloo and Victoria within 10 minutes, so is pretty good. It’s Zone 2 as well so it’s fairly cheap to travel up, and this part of Clapham seems very safe, if a bit overrun with suits!
As Travelodges go, it’s incredibly basic, though they do have some things at the front desk that you can ask for if you need it, like toiletries and hair dryers. Being new, the rooms are very clean and well presented. Of course be prepared for noise from the station across the road at night; if you want to say here you may want to ask for a room near the top floor to minimise sound, though if you’re from a city I’m sure it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. They have free wifi though you have to ask at the front desk for the password. Overall it’s a decent hotel if you’re on a very limited budget.
