Private members only club in Mayfair. Has all of the touches that you would want if you were a member — discreet, loyal, attentive service, relaxed atmosphere, quick and efficient drink service etc…

Obviously, best part of Tramp is ride in Ferrari to get here. Bathrooms, however, deserve five star. Even Natashka was impressed with perfume selection. Overall experience would have been improved by fewer call girls milling around, though.

STRICTLY members only??? That’s amazing, a concept that SF needs to adopt. Everyone in the club was either a prince, an heiress, a trust fund baby, or like me… friends with a friend of a friend a member. Even though I am SO unaccustomed to waiting, I found that my 15 minutes in the cold, waiting for our member friend to get«receipts» for our entry was more than worth it. Inside the venue is very classy… chandeliers, fresh flowers, gorgeous bar, etc. Thank god I wasn’t paying for anything cause I’m sure it was VERY expensive. However, I was told, that unlike most clubs in London, there is no £1,000 minimum for a table, even though I’m pretty sure we went over. I didn’t like how one of the servers came and took the cigarette out of my hand at the end of the night and put it out in front of me… RUDE.(By the way, all the hosts are older men… like the butlers in Batman… COOL!) Overall, GREAT experience… oh and I loooved the bald bouncer. You wa’ a a’, little ladee? Equates to: You want a hat, little lady?

Very nice club, but maybe too exclusive. The problem is that there is like a competition between mens: who will take more bottles and wich one will spend more? this sounds very stupid but this is the Tramp Anyway The music is very nice and a good atmosphere.

Tramp’s is brilliant… if you’re there on the right night. If not, it can be rather disappointing, indeed! Of course, Fridays and Saturdays are out in general. But I always love going back to whenever I am in London, sans the purple Bentley’s and essex-girls :)

Strictly members-only club that people seem to either love or hate. This is such a quirky place, I think you have to give it a go with a large group more than once to really understand it and feel at home here. Atmosphere-wise it feels a lot like you’re in some gentleman’s basement library… like he impulsively decided to put on some music and invite his friends over. Everything’s all wood-paneling and pretty sconces… replete with the portrait of a trap… there’s definitely a different look going on in here than your typical nightclub. Tramp is essentially divided into two rooms… the restaurant and the club. You can go here for dinner beforehand — the dinner section looks like a rather typical supper club decorated with astrology symbols. The club room is just tables surrounding a dance floor… but what’s nice is that the tables are really good-sized with plenty of sitting room… you never feel over-crowded… the entire group can sit down(or stand up on the cushions and dance!) They also decorate really well in here for holidays… cobwebs for Halloween and garlands for Christmas… but it’s always tasteful and compliments the whole traditional library-look — never cheesy. The service here is *fantastic*…they don’t even take your name or hand you a slip at the coat check — merely try to remember you — it’s simply one of Tramp’s idiosyncrasies and endeavors to deliver top-notch service. Many staff members have been with Tramp *forever* and are well-known and loved. It’s a bit odd to be served by white-haired and mustached men wearing tuxedos in a club, but again, it’s in keeping with the vibe of the place… like the gentleman host has asked his butlers to stay late and take good care of his friends all night long… and they do, the staff is just so friendly and sweet… they actually seem to be having a good time being here and interacting with crazy club goers. The music is a great mix of pop, R&B, and old favourites. The DJ will normally take requests if you ask nicely, but they usually play such an amazing variety that you don’t need to put in the effort. The crowd is an assortment of young and old — but everyone is either established or connected to somebody who’s established — it’s the only way to get in! If there’s anything to be said about Tramp, it’s that the place is consistent… I’ve had so many great times here… I know I can count on it for a good night out… plus it’s the rare club that makes you feel like you’re partying in the basement of mansion!

not normally my scene at all, it seemed far too posh and too exclusive. i was lucky enough to be invited by a friend who had bought a table, and was looked after with cocktails and crystal. surprisingly good atmosphere, great music and generally a fun place to visit just for the experience of feeling like one of the rich and famous!
