I had a re con engine supplyed and fitted by these people, blew up after only 7000 miles and they had done two services on the car, there reaction was tough we have had your money, if you want it repaired it will cost double the original amount. After collecting the shell of the car and engine, I had a independent report done, the findings was that I had not had a recon fitted but just a very old worn engine. On trying to take them to the small claims court they folded gold arrow engineering ltd, and reopened as total engines and gearboxes ltd, and had a change of directors. I still have all paperwork and all relevant documents, with my dealings with these people. Please be very careful if you intend to use them.

I honestly don’t know where these silly reviews have come from. I’ve had my engine changed by the same company, they quoted me £1500 supplied and fitted for a BMW engine, and then there were parts they said needed replacing, I knew these parts would need replacing as my mechanic had told me. Car out, job done and happy motoring. I have been taking it back for servicing, had a small leak of oil which they have sorted out. I honestly can’t say anything bad.
