It is good to see more burrito places spring up outside Central London and Tortilla is the best market in Outer London for them. They have a range of things on their menu such as burritos, quesadillas, tacos and even naked burritos. The prices are decent starting from £5 for a medium and £6 for a large, with 70p for the beef option. There are also extras such as tortilla chips, beers and even margaritas which is great for group outings. The burrito which I had was cooked well, but the wrap itself felt weak and came apart when I tried to bite into it. Fortunately I had it indoors, but I felt perhaps maybe they put too much in the burrito or that the wraps themselves are too thin. They also have a selection of hot sauces and Mexican chocolate products for purchase as well. In short; Tortilla is decent as a chain, but for a more stronger burrito best go elsewhere.

We were lucky enough to come during the soft opening for free burritos and a drink. The staff were really nice, and the food was good. I didn’t much care for the seating though, lots of high stools and fixed tables. There was seating upstairs though, and I didn’t go up there so I can’t say what it’s like! A solid choice for a burrito, and not to expensive — £5 for a regular, £6 for a large. I wouldn’t go out of my way, but when I’m going to the O2 Centre, I’d probably stop in again. The chicken was a bit hard, and the guacamole was coriander-y(I hate coriander, but that’s just my taste!) We both really enjoyed the carnitas, and the barbacoa was good too.
