Mainly for casual shopping I’d say but they do have the odd pretty pieces worth a bit. It’s not the best stores for TK Maxx if I’m honest, but it’s not particularly bad either. It’s seems to have lost it’s fame a little, but it’s still a perfectly good store to shop at.

TK Maxx is the Uk version of TJ Maxx from the US. These stores are not common here but there are some similarities. Wood Green has one of the few TK Maxx’s around and they sell loads of men and womens clothing and luggage and homewares. This shop sells all the top brands loads off. I saw a black cashmere sweater today that I really liked. I stood in the men’s section running my fingers over it. I wasn’t sure whether to get a V neck or crew neck. There were loads of colours to choose from. The only wierd thing was I couldn’t find a price on it. Maybe it’s really discounted. price-less! The aisles are a little bit tight in this store so it will be harder than necessary form disabled people to get around. I was with my mum and it was a bit tight. I’ll be back for the sweater.

Averagly sized TK Maxx within the Wood Green shopping complex — on the 2nd floor. Don’t recall it having a homewares section, ladies shoes section didn’t seem large nor the handbags & overall it was fairly messy making finding anything difficult — like being in a jumble sale! Alright to visit if you’re in the area but wouldn’t trek up there specifically for this store as it’s not one of the better TK Maxx’s.
