Classificação do local: 4 Dalston, London, United Kingdom
A typical Dalston high road basement club, with a low ceiling, dark, rough and ready ambience, and a good sound system. The beer is good, with a couple of ‘craft’ lagers by Camden Brewery — it’s not cheap, but it rarely is in clubs in this area. A range of nights are held there, from underground house and techno rave-ups, to old skool hip hop nights, to disco-soul-motown events. I’ve only been to house/techno nights, which did not disappoint, and considering the cheap entry it’s well worth checking out for a cheaper night out without big name DJs. Upstairs is a bar/restaurant, which seems to have quite patchy opening hours — sometimes the shutters are open, sometimes not, and the décor seems cool in an alternative, cosy way, although I haven’t drunk or eaten in there before.
