I was taken here for Sunday lunch recently, and had a great experience: good choice of real ales; a really nice Sunday lunch(with — as others have said — two veggie choices!) and good service from the friendly and obliging staff. I chose rosemary and red onion veggie sausages, which came with roast potatoes, greens, cauliflower au gratin and carrots. It’s full of locals in the know, and all I saw were empty plates goign back to the kitchen. It’s a very traditional pub, tucked away on an otherwise rather anonymous terrace street. It has a main bar at the front and seating both at the front and a slightly more snug area at the rear. There’s a generous covered outdoor area at the front of the pub, too. I’ll go again. Top tip: the home-made beetroot and horseradish sauce makes a lovely change on the usual bought-in product.

Fantastic local pub with friendly staff, great atmosphere and LONG opening times. Usual gastropub food but unusual in that it is actually super nice. The roast is great, which is usually an oxymoron. Good selection of beers, loads of places to sit, and again, lovely staff. Oh and a free jukebox not crammed full of shit.

This is a great local pub — decent beer selection including wheat beer and local ales. Lots of seating outside and inside. They’ve got a relatively small menu of hearty pub food, dishes are freshly prepared on the premises. They have wifi and the staff are very easy going and friendly — up for a chat. We’d just moved to the area and they made us feel very welcome.

I adore this place. I always have and always will. Hidden in the middle of a strange little road amid various housing estates, the Telegraph boasts a wide selection of ales, whiskys, wine and specialist lagers(such as my personal favourite — Litovel) all with good prices. The food is locally sourced and robust. Good old fashioned pie, fish and an awesome Sunday roast. Sunday here is my own personal ideal of bliss. A roast, a Bloody Mary, and the free jukebox to play me off into another world. Other than that. it’s the people. Everyone is friendly and familiar towards one another, and the attitudes of the staff reflect that. Not to sound like an alcoholic(although I usually do), but the place feels homely. With its big open fires and friendly atmosphere I could, and have, sat there all night. My favorite pub in London. Easily.

Love the fact that this is my new local. Wasn’t greatly impressed with the area when I moved in but The Telegraph is one of the really positive elements. It’s cool, friendly, has good food and a lovely environment with hip Goldsmiths students visiting as well as a good blend of locals of all ages. The bar staff are so friendly and even know how to make a nice latte. Thumbs up!

Super pub grub from a wide ranging menu along with a good selection of Real Ales including London Pride, Adnams, Chiswick Bitter, Czech lagers and the standards you’d normally expect. The food and service were excellent when we went. I had linguine with scallops and prawns with garlic and red chilli. The other half went for bangers ‘n mash(just to check they weren’t Brake Brothers slop). Sister dearest opted for steak and ale pie with veg. We all agreed, yum! Menu’s change regularly here and the puddings are also divine. The loos are great and disabled access is no problem either.
