A nice British pub, with a great size beer garden and they heat it as well, so we were able to stay out there when it got chilly. Decent, regular pub food and room upstairs if you’re eating. Service is pretty good. They have trivia night also, which can get fun in the right crowd.

A decent Fuller’s pub serving the usual Fuller’s beers: London pride, Seafarer etc(but only bottled Honeydew here). Came here on a Friday evening. Plus points for not being rammed like most places on a Friday. Local crowd. Far enough down from Borough Market so a bit quieter. Served quickly. Bonus is a reasonably sized beer garden at the back.

Stopped in here to use the W.C., ended up grabbing some food and a pint of Stella. Very good, loved the atmosphere, and even got to catch a bit of a football match in the process!

This is an usually small pub by Fullers standards, where if there is popular sport on it can dominate a little. I’ve always been a fan of Fullers Discovery, a crisp refreshing crossover drink for a former imbiber of lager, but the swill they served me here was not even recognisable. By far the worst pint of it I’ve ever had. Room to hire upstairs.

Pretty decent standard pub. Cheaper than some of the pubs around, and serving the usual pub selection of sandwiches, burgers, sausages and mash etc. They have a good selection of real ales, and numerous lagers. I’ve visited on a Friday lunchtime several times and the service has been quick, and I’ve been happy with the food and beer. I’d probably visit more often if it was closer. The interior is of the normal pub variety, and we’ve never had a problem finding seats. Nothing exceptional, but if I you’re in the area and want a drink then The Ship should quench your thirst.
