The Royal Air Force Club – Running Horse Tavern

Had a friend sponsor us, so we had the pleasure/​honour of enjoying the club. We always started the evening in the tavern for a pint to decide where we would be of to later. Great staff and food was good when we ate here.

Pip, Pip! Well done! Lucky enough to have reciprocal privilege due to my membership in the Army-​Navy Club. Wrapping up our UK vacation with a night in this grand old military club on Picadilly. Everything first class, RAF history dripping from paintings and museum pieces on virtually every wall. Four-​Star dinner tonight in the dining room, although the Flying Horse pub is closed because it is a Sunday. Refined «members only» service at every turn. Our room is really a junior suite, with small sitting room, large bath, king sized bed — and both Air Conditioned and Dead Quiet in the heart of London! Whether for business or pleasure, we will most definitely be making the RAF Club our home base on future trips to London!
