Probably the most boring pub experience I had in London. The menu was rather pedestrian, and while my fish and chips were decent, there was nothing exceptional about them. My husband’s bangers and mash(never not funny to say!) was a little better. Both came with plain peas as opposed to the mushy peas stated on the menu. It’s a Fuller’s pub, which isn’t particularly interesting to me as a brewery either in terms of their beer selections. A fine place for dinner, but given that we were on a short trip and there’s so many great eateries in London, I wish we’d gone elsewhere.

Since it’s been done up, the Plough has a great atmosphere and looks really homeley-but-sort-of-fancy with open fires and rustic wooden tables. Definitley family friendly, it has a beer garden at the back with a mini-playground thing for kids, but at the same time I’ve never seen it empty, and it always has a liveley buzz about it. Food-wise, it is sort of on the pricey side for a pub, but it is really good and worth trying. Overall, a great local pub.

I went to The Plough with my friends who live in Ealing. I was really impressed by Fuller’s dark selection, I had the London Pride and the 1845 which were both really delicious. The pub itself has ample amount of seating and the 5 of us were quickly able to find a table and enjoy our pints.

Got a feeling this pub may be a ‘grower’ on me after my first visit recently. Lovely big, airy bar area(didn’t venture out side but looked decent from my limited vantage point) and nice array of ales, lagers etc. Menu looked pretty tempting too. Barmaid was non engaging to the point of being a tad rude and toilets although having appeared to have undergone a facelift recently were a bit grubby, smelly and fly-ridden.Would definately pop back again to sample the food and outside area.

Great food and range of beers in this Fullers pub Put time in your diary to visit this pub in the Little Ealing Area, just down from Northfields Tube. Recently improved with additional seating in terms of a conservatory and outside seating. The pub offers a range of beers and drinks but also a great menu with food to suit most tastes. Well worth a try

The Plough is a great little place to have a quiet drink after work. The pub has a nice atmosphere and looks like your traditional pub, it also has a conservatory area and beer garden out the back. The pub also has lots of TV’s to watch sports on, with mini ones also dotted around on various tables, this is a nice touch. The pub also serves fantastic pub food, it is quiet high end and as such is quiet expensive. I had a classic bangers and mash, which cost about £8. However it was really well made and tasted fantastic. The sweet potato wedges were all great. The pub is also a very short walk from Northfields tube station so is easily accessible.

A Fullers pub not far from Northfields station in Ealing. Has been through a lot of refurbishment over the years. Excellent food menu if a little on the pricey side along with a good selection of wines, beers and cocktails! Nice garden area too although now not quite so big as a result of the recent extension.

A pub that’s changed a lot over the years, but currently at the top of it’s game again. Good food, very well kept ales and a big selection of bottles to keep pretty much everyone happy. Big garden out the back, with some slides for the kiddies and an occasional barbeque in the summer. Indoors there’s some high tables as well as comfy chairs and an open fire during winter. It used to be my local until I moved up the road to the Red Lion( ), which is my favourite pub in Ealing — this one comes in second.

Another good boozer on the Ealing/Brentford border. Quality food with prices to match, but if you like celeb-spotting, Peter Crouch and his VERY fit girlfriend can be seen in there sometimes. Fullers and Guest ales aplenty, with all the continental lager you’ll ever need and no TV or loud music to drown out your conversation. Sunday lunch seems very popular and best of all. there’s a Golden Tees golf machine for that all important winter round of virtual golf. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in that neck’o’the woods
