Great hotel. Very comfortable, great staff, and very clean. I loved the room and the décor. I didn’t use the spa facilities as I didn’t have a bathing suit but I hear great things :) Only drawback is that it’s a little off the beaten path; however, it’s easy to get to by bus and there is a stop right outside. Battersea Park is right across the street. We also had a great view of the power station and the Houses of Parliament/London Eye in the distance. I would absolutely stay there again.

Great place and hotel. Loved. The only problem if you need to move around london by public transportation your only way in/out will be by busses. No metro nearby. Or you can walk about 20 min to Sloan square to get a metro there. Besides this down turn everything else at this hotel is great.

A hotel opposite Battersea Park with proximity to Kings Road in Chelsea! I think there are 12 floors and if you are in the front of the building you might have beautiful views. Unfortunately, if your are in the back of the hotel you have views onto the train rails and hear the sound of passing trains. If you are a light sleeper you better ask for a room infront of the building. You have the option of a swimming pool and spa, a restaurant, meeting rooms, small bar on the ground floor and a bit of outside seating area infront of the hotel. The rooms were nice: Leather couch, nice big double bed, a shower and a designer bath, room safe, fridge, efficient storage space and a flat screen TV22 inch. The food in the hotel is good. The staff really nice. But you are only a 15 min walk away from Kings street where you can enjoy some nice coffee shops and restaurants too. If you are not in the mood for walking take the 360 or 452 bus to Kings Road and Sloan Square Underground station or the 44 bus to Victoria station. I believe that the room prices vary from £130 upwards, but its still a good price considering you are near Chelsea and all the attractions. Room service charge is £5(seriously!), Continental Breakfast £12.50. I can definitely recommend this hotel, but try to get a room to the front and in the upper floors.

I was a little sceptical when my colleague booked this hotel, I’d never heard of it but I only seem to do flying visits to London these days so I don’t keep up to date with the hotels. From the outside the hotel looks great, modern, spacious and clean. It’s clear it’s a hotel with aspirations and is tastefully decorated. I was on the«executive level» on floor 10, I’m not sure what features made my room an executive room, it looked pretty standard compared with other hotels. They seem to love LED lighting in this property, the bathroom for instance has a bright blue LED light. I’m not sure why. Now for the downsides: The hotel seems to have spent a fair amount of money decorating and furnishing the rooms. That being the case, why screw it up by purchasing the cheapest mattress for the bed? It was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard. I ended up sleeping on the sofa. For an «executive» room I wondered why they had pushed together two single beds to form a double. That’s just stoopid and very uncomfortable. Now my favourite hotel bug bear — the Wifi. Most hotel Wifi systems are pretty self explanatory, you put your surname and room number in and hey presto. This one however was asking for a username and password with no ability to bill to the room. I tried to call down to the front desk to ask for more information but I couldn’t figure out how to call the front desk, pressing zero didn’t seem to do anything and there was no directory. As it was late I didn’t bother trying to make it work or going downstairs to ask. My room backed out onto the busy railway down below, the noise and vibration was quite evident. Cheap and nasty toiletries, think Holiday Inn Express but worse. After four hours of poor sleep I went downstairs to start my day, I went to the bar to ask for a coffee. Before I finished my sentence the bar person interrupted with«Bar no open» followed by «open 8am», he promptly walked off. Rude. The poor mattress totally kills this venue for me and for that one reason(out of the many above which I could overlook) I wouldn’t return.

My boyfriend and I stayed here last week for his birthday and had a wonderful experience. I never expect much from hotels in London, as you usually have to pay a huge amount of money for a good hotel. Well that’s what I though until I stayed here. After looking online for days, trying to compromise price and quality, I kept looking back at this one, as the reviews on Trip Advisor were great(c’mon Unilocalers, get reviewing some hotels: D) There was a good deal on a comparison website, so I decided to call the hotel direct and try book with them. They matched the price and booking over the phone was quick and efficient. I also put a request in for a high room. Getting to the hotel was fine. We decided to walk from Sloane Square tube station as it was sunny, and it’s not a bad walk. About 10 – 15 minutes. There are LOTS of buses running outside that will take you to Sloane Sq and other part of London and we used these a few times, as these are included on your day travel card. The Staff at check in were great, everyone in the hotel was really friendly and polite. Our room was on the 4th floor out of 8, so we didn’t get a high room, but we did get a really good room! Ours was at the front of the hotel overlooking Battersea Park, directly over reception. I think there are city view rooms and some may look onto apartments or other parts of the hotel. The room was so nice and was very spacious for a London hotel. The bed was huge, but later realised it was to singles, which isn’t preferable, but it was extremely comfortable and I slept very well. The hotel was quiet and there was no noise coming in from outside. The bathroom is great with nice lighting, and a separate bath and shower. There was also shampoo AND conditioner as part of the toiletries too which is rare, so I was happy about that. Other facilities included fridge, iPod dock, flat screen tv, large wardrobe and storage space, chaise long, and nice lighting throughout the room. The spa and pool are DELIGHTFUL! The pool is lit beautifully and the whole area is super relaxing. The woman working down there was really lovely too. There are loungers, magazines, water cooler, sauna and steam room. It’s just a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. I would 100% stay here again when I am next in London, we didn’t want to leave!

My fiancée and I stayed here when we visited London last year. Given that we’d heard that plenty of hotels in London tend to be smaller joints, we ended up looking for something more along the lines of a conventional hotel. We ended up at Pestana, which is just across the Thames next to Battersea Park. The hotel itself is in a small little complex next to(what look like) relatively new apartment buildings. Getting checked in was a cinch, and we ended up in a room that had space like you’d expect a typical American hotel to, with modern amenities, a good and stable Internet connection, and a very large window that gives you a decent look of the city in the distance. Unfortunately, it mainly looks out on the trainyard that is behind the hotel, and every now and then, you’ll get an train that lets out a honk. The other consideration, if you do stay here, is that you’re not really all that close to a Tube stop. If you decide to walk it, it’ll take you a good 15 – 20 minutes to get to one. That said(and we didn’t figure this out until later), there is a bus stop right outside, and you can usually take those across the river if you want to get to a more central location. There’s also usually a black cab outside, so if you want easy access, you can just take that right off. For the price(slightly under $ 200/night), you get what feels like more of your money’s worth at this hotel compared to other places. That said, it is partially as a result of being a bit out of the way relative to the Tube and to the central spots in London. If you’re willing to sacrifice a little convenience, though, this is a very nice hotel to spend time at, and it’s a wonderful place to come back to after a long day of walking around and touring the city.
