Went to this restaurant for the first time last week. When we got there they sat us down but it was soon realised that they thought we were part of a group booking (which we weren’t). They explained to us that a group had booked the whole restaurant.
They were so kind however and rearranged the tables so that we could have dinner there. They warned us that the group were going to be loud and once the noise began, they couldn’t apologise enough! They served us as quickly as they could because of the noisy atmosphere.
The food was delicious and the staff were so nice! They even escorted us out at the end of our meal so we weren’t squashed by the rowdy group.
I would definitely recommend this place but will make sure I book a table next time!

This Place used to be called the New Maharajah but reopened only a month or two ago under its new name «The Palace Restaurant». Very reasonable prices, excellent service (we were a little cold so the manager immediately turned the heating up) and great food. We had the Lamb Apricot Curry which was delicious. Needless to say when next in Hammersmith we’ll be back here.
