Myself and my flatmate have passed this quaint little place a few times and always thought about going in — Last night with the arrival of a guest from the Land Down Under, we decided to pay a visit!
And we were very glad we did! Don’t let it’s diminutive size fool you, this is a drinking establishment with a well stocked bar of local craft beers and a well disguised selection of draft beers and ales in the wall (if you ask nicely the bar tender will let you sample a few before making a decision, or alternatively you can ask him for his advice, very knowledgeable chap!)
Great relaxed atmosphere, lots of cool art hanging on the walls, nicely turned out and despite there being quite a few full tables, it didn’t feel over crowded or like anyone was ‘up in our grill’.
Safe to say we’ve found our new local watering hole in Bermondsey :)

Stopped by this non-​descript bar-​front during a mid-​day walk down Tower Bridge Road. Really friendly bartender explained that they were very new and then proceeded to share his recommendations for some beers. Heavy emphasis on all of the local Bermondsey/​Southwark breweries, which was a plus for me as a fan of many of them.
He mentioned that there was supposed to be some food planned in the near future, but none was available when we stumbled in during the unofficial soft-​launch.
Looking forward to checking back in once they’ve got things up and running smoothly!
