Haven’t been here for dinner yet but I come here for breakfast often. The full English is great, everything you could want from a full English with tasty sausages and bacon. The banana and strawberry smoothie is also really really nice, definitely helps me to feel more human after a heavy Friday night! Edit: Have now come for dinner and would definitely say to avoid the dinner here at all costs. The hummous starter tasted like it was just out of a Tescos box, and was really cold. The halloumi tasted more like mozzarella and was cut up into tiny square chunks so wasn’t like eating halloumi at all. Had the lamb kebab which tasted overcooked. It looked great but the meat quality was poor and it just wasn’t enjoyable to eat, even though I normally love chargrilled lamb. The rice, at least, was quite nice but not exactly what I went out for dinner for. My girlfriend had the chicken kebab, and this was where the lack of quality really showed. The chicken was overcooked, dry, tough and just horrible. Ate two bits but then she ended up just leaving it, even though she was starving. Fortunately they didn’t charge us for this, which I really appreciated, and they did offer to cook us a replacement but by then we just wanted to get out of there. In short, it was really disappointing, which is a shame because I really wanted to like it. Come here for breakfast by all means, but once that breakfast menu gets put away just run!

Mixed feelings about this place. The atmosphere is good, in the evening its candle lit and does have a turkish vibe which was nice! The starter sharing platter is really nice, its a mixed platter and dishes such as diced lamb hummus, halloumi, falafel and grilled turkish sausage, however the main courses are very underwhelming and if I went again I would most likely not have a main course!

Service and restaurant not bad, but my chicken wings were under cooked for me and the bones inside were broken making them frustrating. The breakfast I had previously was also just average. The tiramisu was also a bit to spongey and cake, didn’t use the right biscuit and the flavour was weak.

Yum. yumymyumyumyy seriously yum. I live within walking distance and had to check this place out. It’s a little fancier on the inside than I anticipated. I expected more of a converted warehouse hipstery vibe but it’s a proper sit down table service restaurant. I’ve eaten there twice within a week now and both times the service has been great, and since I was alone, they did their best to make me comfortable and leave me to my own little world. Free wifi is a plus, as well. I’ve gone for the same dish both times because it was so good, the lamb kebab in tomato sauce with yogurt, yum! I haven’t tasted something with so much flavour in a very long time, probably since moving to Europe. Today I also went for dessert, coconut pudding, delicious and creamy but denser and bigger than I needed, not that that was their fault at all. I deducted a star because of the price, it’s a bit high, but other than that, perfection!
