The Marble Arch By Montcalm

I got a great price for this hotel in the week leading up to xmas for 2 nights at under £150 which was very good as it was so close to Marble arch.
my room however was a single room and had just a small single bed and the room was laid out almost like a galley it was very long and thin and very small.
It was a comfortable room with good ameneties and the bathroom was excellent and very clean however the room was noisy, i heard every step from the floor above as i was in the basement and from 6am in the morning i heard staff rushing past my room and even could hear the sound of the newspapers hitting the floor, it wasnt a haven of tranquility by any means.
Although good value and good location it felt a little claustrophbic and i was glad to leave and see the day light once more.
