The Lodge is a cool little bar /​mini club. As you enter you head down the stairs into a dark bar with a small dance floor, seating area and DJ box. To the right is another bar area and seating, and the back takes you into a walled garden, where in the summer they have BBQ’s and ‘garden parties’. For a small venue they get some good names here playing such as Rob da Bank. They have an eclectic music policy but always bordering on funk/​house/​rnb. You also get a mix of clientele in here, which gives it a happy vibe. Harlesden isn’t the first place you’d expect to find a DJ bar like this so it gives a welcome lift to the area’s limited nightlife.
