I’m writing this off the cuff, just because I forgot to think of what to say before pressing the«write a review» but i do like this place, It’s small, and unobtrusive. Well, except the bouncer. although he is great and add’s to the flavour. It is named the ‘King’s Head’ for reasons that allude to attributing it to Elvis, although it not outright said. with enough space to fit maybe 30 people or even less the bar does at times deter those of a nature that may not like the décor or surroundings in general. As the walls are covered in rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia and the remnants of its older establishment, when it was a haven for mostly older gentlemen hiding from respective partners. Nowadays the place has a certain darkness that is strangely welcoming. and retains that unnatural convention of everybody looking at who has entered the bar. One bullseye is the staffing choices. unlike so many bars, you have correct staff that know what they are doing and are pleasant enough to make you come back again. Last thing though, The Jukebox is a ridiculous un-eclectic mix of the same songs or just songs that sound the same from a small area of the world that nobody who has ever been to the King’s Head has had the misfortune to visit. where’s the variety? I wasn’t even born when 98% of the music was made, nor anybody else to seen there either.
