I’m a fan of this place. As an LSE student, there’s no place more convenient for grabbing a decent cup of coffee in between classes on campus. It’s a bit pricy, but not out of line for a campus coffee shop – plus, you can pay with LSESQUID money so there’s that… This place has two floors with two different service offerings. Upstairs has fresh coffee and tea, as well as pre-made food. Downstairs offers cooked selections. In addition to superior coffee, upstairs at the Garrick has a nice selection of fresh sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch. I’m not a huge fan of their breakfast sandwiches but their lunch offerings are tasty(they have a particularly nice salmon sandwich). I was surprised to find that downstairs offers a large selection of delicious cooked breakfast and lunch. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and was shocked by the quality of the food and the offering of unlimited drip coffee or tea. In my opinion, this is the best cooked food on LSE’s campus. Enjoy!

Frequented mostly by LSE students, the Garrick is one of the London School of Economics’ coffee shops/restaurants. The upstairs is mostly sandwiches, coffee, croissants, etc., while the downstairs is devoted to hot meals. The sandwiches and coffee are decent, if a little overpriced. The hot meals are a bit mediocre and pretty dear. Good place to hang out and do some studying. One negative side — they have a weird complicated machine to make tea, which produces tea with tiny bits of leaves floating in it. Not so good However, I can definitely recommend the ham and tomato sandwich — not bad at all.
