5 stars. YES. Everytime I shop there everything seems pretty organize and tidy(as much as this kind of retail shops can be); I always find what I need, even in the rush hours. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They seem to have lots of patience with us, the customer!, always messing around the shop and not caring about anything. They offered me advice every single time I have been there(last time was about baby clothes, thank you!) They have several departments: Kids, baby and women in the ground floor, and men downstairs. They always seem to have lots of discounts and promotions so it is worth it to give it a try.

You know what I’m grateful for? That I work on top of a shopping centre with lots of clothing shops.(That’s equally a bad thing for my bank account) But that time, your bootylicious bum breaks your new pencil skirt because of er.squats.(Or gelato but THATISBESIDESTHEPOINT!!) midway through work. So I popped into Gap because it was the closest and the skirt I bought is not only work versatile but casual versatile. And that is why I love Gap, it’s got that smart casual thing going. Not only that, the store assistants are always friendly! But since it is an American export brand– the prices are a little bit on high side, well I’m an intern so… yeah Smart casual, friendly and the cheaper sister to banana republic! :) RECOMMEND!

This Canada Square outlet is moderately stocked with men’s inventory. The problem is that since it’s in Canary Wharf, many sneak a visit during lunch or take a break. The result is that you’re not going to find your size if you’re a medium. Annoying. I’m going to take off a star for mediocre inventory management, because I have seen this trend for the last several years(Yes, I need a life). I’ve also shopped at the kids section here(ummm. for a friend’s baby, that is) and the selection is quite varied. The staff is friendly and helpful, and everything works.

A very wide/big GAP with a decent selection of men’s clothing and not just a small pair of pants stuck in the back like some so called mixed retailers. Very high throughput of stock in this busy store on the main drag underground at Canary Wharf(next to Waitrose and opposite big Boots). Throughput means likely to find something to fit even if you are a funny size.

The Gap branch at Canary Wharf(far end of Canada Place development, close to Waitrose, opposite Next/Boots — nearest stations Canary Wharf DLR and Canary Wharf LU) is a large retail unit compared to many other in this shopping complex. You will find most of what you may have had your eye on at other branches, although the rails and racks do feel a little crammed in. The floor staff are enough to drive you insane — do you need any help?. No thanks. Are you SURE you don’t need any help?. No thanks, I’m really just looking. Have you seen this jumper/coat/bag?. Friendly enough, but I do like to shop for myself. The till staff are helpful and friendly, and considerably less hyper. You’ll naturally find a heavier emphasis toward the smarter items in this store(the Canary Wharf shops naturally cater to office workers), and if you’re desperate for a silk dress you’ve seen in town, but nowhere has it in your size, you’ll probably find it here. Very good range of sizes, and the till staff are always happy to ring ahead to another branch and reserve for you on the rare occasion that they don’t have the size you need.
