So finding a good fish mongers close to home is really important I reckon, especially for supermarket phobic shoppers like me. Stoke Newington has two within moments of one another both of which are pretty good but arguably the Fishery is that much better, if a little more expensive and certainly more attractive on the eye, in a fishey kinda way. Everything is fresh and they have a good daily turnover and variety and always a smart remark to go with your purchase. And if you really can’t be bothered to do the cooking yourself then head down to their Fish and Chip joint, The Fish Bar down the road at number 90 for some freshly battered delights.
