A very welcoming pub that does good food. A good place near Euston train station to meet friends for a drink and food as well as a place to rest a little after travelling. I’ve found the place to be very helpful and welcoming every time I’ve visited. They have wifi and its a good pub in general.

This is a welcome retreat once leaving the train at Euston. A very warm welcoming place to have a beer and some food. It’s a must hidden little gem round the corner from all the main façade of the station. Definitely recommend a visit. Great ales and drinks not to mention the food!

Very decent station pub with fun railway memorabilia. Staff were really nice and I wouldn’t hesitate to pop in here again if waiting by Euston. It’s also the starting point for Agent November — hilarious and enjoyable spy games in the local area, check him out!

A loud and boisterous pub next to Euston station, The Doric Arch isn’t your usual station pub. The whole place is decorated in interesting transport-y signage and the seating is not only rather plentiful, but also rather comfy! Lots of wood and dark colors make it seem older and not as if it’s in the type of building that it actually is in(which is rather ugly and modern). The selection on offer is pretty good and we were quickly served. Bonus: really clean restrooms!

Walked into the pub around 10:45 pm as we waited for our train. Ordered our drinks. Bell rang at 10:55 which we learned was not last orders but time to go. The manager then hovered around us and as soon as the glass left my lips we were told to get out as closing in 2 minutes. Once they had our money they wasted no time in trying to shift us out. A short walk to the Brewery Tap rescued the rest of our evening. I will not be passing any more of my money over their bar in future. 2 stars is being very generous, at least the beer was ok.

Classic English pub good for some basic beers, cheap food and a bar fight. Stumbled in here a few weeks ago because we couldn’t get in to the African Kitchen Gallery. First night in London so we decided to try pub food. My wife had the fish and chips and a few beers that were quite good. I had the rump steak which was tough and overcooked. Should have ordered the fish. The chips with both orders were great and the Caesar salad we had as an appetizer was good too. Beers were cold and hit the spot after a long trip from the USA. About half way through our dinner someone hit the bartender and then the foul language and the beer glasses started flying against the wall. Thought we were in a western movie. No one was injured and we laughed it off as a «Welcome to England night». Overall a lot better choice than all of the Indian food on Drummond Street and better than the fast food type places at Euston Station. Thanks for the entertaining night. Oh, and the prices were quite reasonable seeing that everything in the UK is exorbitant.

This place has the feel of a proper old pub, all dark heavily varnished wood. However it is modern and looks out over the bus station at Euston station. A really great selection of well cared for real ales. One of the only places I know that does London Porter, really nice dark(if not a little strong) beer.

This is a good station pub. A Fuller’s pub but doesn’t really feel like one and the fact that it serves some guest ales means that you have some choice besides the usual Fuller’s range(I’ve never seen close to the 9 ales that the Fuller’s website boasts mind you). They had some award winning ale as a guest on my last visit, which was very nice. This pub does get a bit busy and certain parts of the pub can become quite cramped. Also, the toilets are way downstairs and require a codeI guess to prevent people waiting for buses from using thembut that can also be a pain for paying customers too. Still.worth arriving at Euston a little early for!

It’s not the best pub in the world… actually I found it a little depressing, but it is near Euston Station so it’s convenient for a quick drink or two before catching a train.

Though in dark wood and nicely cosy this is a modern pub. It’s on three floors. The ground floor contains nothing but the entrance, the bar is upstairs and the toilets downstairs. Many old British Railways station signs add to the railway feeling of the place. But as also other reviewers emphasized the variety of beers is delightful with the full choice of Fuller’s beers and guest beers(6 handpumps) plus — rather unusual — three containers with real cider, the strongest(‘organic’) with more than 7% abv.

Most pubs in the vicinity of big train stations like Euston are pretty grim, but the Doric bucks this trend. OK, so if you like acres of cream paint and tasteful paintings and modern furnishings you are going to hate this place, but if you are a train spotter or someone who just likes a good proper boozer then the Doric is for you! There’s quite a lot of memoribilia from London’s transport system hung on the walls which are interesting, even if you aren’t the sort of person who spends hours hanging around in your anorak around train stations! This pub has a really wide range of tasty real ales, on tap and in bottles. This is a Fuller’s pub and their seasonal ales are always nice. The range changes regularly, lending itself to many return visits — as my boyfriend says, nothing says I love you more than joint membership to CAMRA so we travel here quite often. To be honest, I’ve never eaten here but I’ve been told the food is reasonable honest pub grub and nicer than what you’d get in the station itself. Well worth a visit, even if you aren’t planning to travel anywhere from Euston.

The doric arch, a great name for a pub, has a great range of real ales. It’s a well kept bar with a friendly and entertaining bunch of staff. There is particularly nice barmaid working there at the minute, who I think may be raising the trade for them. The food is fairly standard fayre, all tasty enough, including the inspired fishfinger sandwich, something I often make at home though have never seen out and about. The toilets aren’t the greatest in the world but not the worst. It’s just a good watering hole for those who enjoy supping real ale.
