A very standard, local pub. I have neither major complaints nor praises. One very good thing is that they have an adequately sized upper floor with its own TV set. Oftentimes when there are multiple sports games going on, they would have different games playing across the two floors. I have yet to try the food at this place — a note to self next time I return!

In from the US and just looking for a quick pint. Good place. Very neighborhood-like. When the barkeeper pumped me a bitter, I knew I was in London! Soccer on TV. Lots of cheer and a pet pooch on a lead. Homey.

Back again on a sunny Wednesday afternoon and the place is much less crowded. Bartender was a bit crusty, but the tables outside were great and we got a chance to soak up some of the sun. In the end, it confirmed my 3 star review. A-OK.

A great night out. Good beer in an unpretentious pub watching football chomping away at some decent and hearty bar food. Defiantly not a family pub but a great atmosphere for the adults there.

In love with this place. For the drinks, for the people and especially the eclectic crowd that drink there. My first night in London I was staying in a Hostel around the corner. I remember seeing this place on the web somewhere boasting about it. So I went to try it out. And holy jeebus am I glad I did. I ended up hanging out with the great bartenders and closing the place down only to go to another bar down the way where I danced all night and met some really great folks. I“m so thankful I went there my first few hours of being in London. I’ve gone back since for a brief pint, and was greeted to a warm reception from the bartender. man. I Heart this place. I know my story is an exceptional one. Not everybody is going to get to go out and party with the locals as I have. But It was a fond memory and a great story to tell. Of course there’s some things I have left out so as not to incriminate anyone. Ha!

Love this place — a proper old fashioned pub, and a welcome change from all the other identikit pubs taking over London at a scary speed. It’s also usually more locals than tourists which is sometimes hard to find in this area. Never eaten here, but the beer’s good, the staff are friendly and they show the sport on TV.

Apparently the TVs in this pub are a recent addition. If so then I wish I had been by beforehand, because If you look past the TV screens then the decoration is actually quite cool, but the screens kind of dominate the pub now. 3 ales on tap and cheap meal deals mean I could possibly be back here if I actually want to see some sport and happen to be in the area. I doubt that will happen though.

Great PUB and great staff when i was staying in Victoria. The only problem i had was the ASSHOLE Australian’s with there heads so far up there ass. They were rude and they were jerks. No wonder the English dumped them on there island. My fellow BRITS on the hand were very cool and nice.

I must say I’m not sure about this place. I like the pub layout, the beers on selection and the fact that it shows both rugby and football(which many pubs don’t do). However the two times I’ve been there some of the clientele has been a bit rough and actually quite rude. Perhaps I should go to the pub in a different mindset, because ultimately both times I’ve probably been up for a different vibe all together. A pint there doesn’t offend though.

I was advised to go here by the owners of Luna & Simone down the street, where we stayed during our trip to London. The first night, after 30+ hours of traveling and being up and at ‘em our first day in London, we really wanted a fairly quiet neighborhood pub that we could crawl home to if necessary. We found the Pimlico locals and the bar staff to be extraordinarily friendly to us. The pints were, I am pretty certain, under 3 pounds for Young’s Bitter, which we drank exclusively. For the rest of our trip, no matter where we went and what we did, we managed to stop at The Constitution for a nightcap. Just as we’d stay again at Luna & Simone, we’d make a point to come back here. What a great neighborhood pub. We really liked Pimlico overall.

Need to watch the football game in Victoria or Plimico area? I discovered last night that the area has a lack of pubs paying for Sky or Setanta satalitle sports TV. That sucks. I mean I know tourists eating ‘English food’ offers a year round cash cow to milk, sports are important to our culture. So after walking from the other side of Victoria station to find the Constitution had both the West Ham vs Spurs London derby on Setanta and the Crystal Palace vs Southampton game on Sky in another corner I felt that I had died and gone to heaven. The pub was busy, but I got a seat and lapped it up with a pint of Strongbow at a local standard of £3.30. I love the artifacts like plates, bowls and fake fish on the wall shelfs above head height. I was a bit too late for food, but the Pie, chips and veg I saw looked really good. Authentic English food, not overpriced English food for tourists. Although I am sure tourist would be welcome here. The barman told me that the place goes mad when England play. I imagine it does. There was a tardis or timewarp behind where I sat where people went never to return or come out and I had never seen them before. In hindsight it might have been an upstairs or downstairs bar and room. I would reccommend this to anyone who wants a friendly, nice bar, showing the footie in the local area. Pimlico tube was about five minutes away and Victoria about ten mins away and the staff and locals are friendly and welcoming.

I have to say this Pub saved my boyfriend and me one day we wanted to see the football on a Sunday and gave a roast. We walked to all the pubs in the area and non-had a TV. The constitution was our last resort, but it wasn’t that terrible. The decoration is dreadful; I have a bad thing for red carpet. This pub has two floors and the one on top is like being in someone’s living room, a tiny living room. It’s not the most welcoming area of the pub, rather scary. We also ordered some food, and it wasn’t bad at all, roast beef was savory and juicy. They serve the regular commercial beers offered in all pubs.
