It was an around one hour wait time but it was worth the wait… I went strolling around the mini shops window viewing while we had to wait… Coffee was good the food was good the atmosphere with the hip music made me want to dance… lol

I can see why they often have a line out of the door. Not because the food is so good but because the service is pretty terrible and so slow! 3 of us got went and didn’t have to wait as it was a Tuesday morning. Nonetheless it was quite busy inside but it’s very small and cramped so there aren’t many tables for the 2 wait staff to worry about but they still managed to go long periods without stopping by or looking in our direction. They got my fiancées order wrong but we’d waited so long she decided not to send it back. The food itself was actually very good, although I’d argue it’s hard to not make a good sausage sandwich. My friend had the egg and avocado and porridge and he said they were decent but the sausage/bacon roll special is the way to go or the Full Monty breakfast judging by the table next to(almost on top of) us. As it’s so cramped in there it’s also really, really hot and we all left literally sweating. Waiting so long for our plates to be cleared and to pay didn’t help. This place is comfortably a 4 based on food but the service really is bad. If there’s a line I wouldn’t bother waiting, try The Elk in the Woods next door instead.

I so want to love the Breakfast Club but I don’t think we’ll be friends … this was the third branch I visited and again I am left feeling a bit meh. The Islington branch is tucked away in Camden Passage, one of these secret little alleyways you just have to love. The menu is packed with guilty temptations, everything sounds amazing. And actually looks really great, too. My club sandwich was massive but every bit of it was just that little bit too tame. If you’re going for full-fat you may as well throw in some salt and pepper for good measure. This sandwich was rather bland — the homemade coleslaw and miniature green side salad had more taste than all that chicken, bacon and cheese. What a shame, like I said, I really want to love the Breakfast Club …

Wasn’t much of a fan of my english breakfast here. Can’t tell if it’s because they didn’t make it well, or perhaps I just don’t care for english breakfast. The staff is nice and I did the 90’s alt rock they play.

Small little place that you could walk right past, except that it was bright yellow, which can catch the eye. There was a line waiting outside the door, so you know at that point it has to be good. So we waited probably like 30 min. And I gotta say, well worth the wait. Once we were in, we were placed in pretty close proximity to the other diners, but the place was so small this was necessary. It would’ve been a much longer wait if this was not the case. Anyway, I got the breakfast burrito, which was the best decision of my life. So filling. So delicious. Fantastic hang over breakfast. If I ever come back to London, I’m going again for sure.

Discovered this place my last morning visiting London. This was the first place I encountered what I considered«real» breakfast(one involving pancakes lol). Ordered the«All American» which was probably way more than one person needs to eat by themselves but such is the American way. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting and since it was a Tuesday I didn’t have to wait for it. There’s also free wifi you just have to ask for the password. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.

I was homesick for a breakfast burrito and Unilocal said this place had some, so I decided to give this another go and took myself out to breakfast. It could’ve been beautiful, but they went over the edge with this thing. «Chorizo, scrambled egg, roasted peppers, Portobello mushroom, guacamole, cheddar and spicy pepper sauce.» There was no mushroom in my burrito. And while the roasted peppers were nice and the chorizo good(though a bit greasy, as chorizo is wont to do), the eggs and«spicy pepper sauce» were *rough*. When I first cut into the burrito, it released a cartoon-like waft of hot sauce. It was like I’d been maced. COOLITWITHTHETABASCO! It wasn’t a spiciness problem — that was fine. It was just so much all you tasted was vinegar and that tell-tale Tabasco flavor and you lost the flavor of the peppers and the eggs and chorizo. It really didn’t need it at all. Without it, it would’ve been a better burrito. Just because it’s an American-style eatery and its a breakfast burrito doesn’t mean you have to choke it with Tabasco. I’d leave that to the diner to add. I’d also recommend chopping the peppers and chorizo a bit more for more flavor distribution, but hey, that’s just me.

Came on a Monday after work — no queue so that’s a good time to go if you’re worried about queueing! That said, I was a bit disappointed. I’ve been to the Breakfast Club in London Bridge and really enjoyed my meal. This one was rather bland. I had a chicken burger — perhaps my problem was not having a breakfast option?! It also came with tomato on it, which I hate and I resent it when restaurants don’t detail things like this on their menu. In addition, the room itself is small and less interesting than the other BCs I have been in or passed through. However, we really enjoyed the bingo that made up the evening’s entertainment. I think it happens once a month? It costs £5 and involves three games and a lot of shots. I’d go back again, but only on a night with entertainment going on.

I’m a fan of the Breakfast Club(both the movie and the chain of American restaurants). This branch of the chain is the closest to my house and it has become my place to bring visiting friends and family to try a full English breakfast(or full monty, as they call it here). It is also a fun place for brunch with friends, as the shop is filled with kitchy decoration and plays lovely music. The Islington branch is located in Camden Passage and can be easily identified by the giant queue that seems to be a permanent fixture out-front. Luckily, if you come here in a group, you can take turns standing in line and perusing the antique markets that are all up and down Camden Passage on the weekend. The Breakfast Club is a small space that is packed with tables. Their turnaround is pretty quick and I have never had to wait for tooo long. I love the food in this(and every) location of The Breakfast Club. They have a big selection of tasty breakfast food, available to satisfy pretty much everyone. From the healthy avocado and poached egg to the indulgent«ham so excited»(a stack of pancakes sandwiched with slices of ham and with melted cheddar cheese); It has uniformly impressed me with flavour. My favorite dishes have been the full monty, the fried chicken sandwich and the boston baked beans(bbq braised pork with white beans and a poached egg). Also delicious are the selection of drinks and cocktails. They have super tasty smoothies, amazing bloody marys and a unique selection of breakfast-ey-cocktails(i’ve had and enjoyed the morning mojito and the earl grey sour). I would give this place full marks for food but I have a few hesitations. 1) I think this place is sometimes wildly overpriced for what it is. There are a few things on the menu I see as reasonable, but many of the meals(particularly egg and avocado) as well as the non-alcoholic drinks are crazy expensive(as is the case at any Breakfast Club location. 2_I have had a few iffy customer service experiences at the Islington location, specifically. I was unsure of how to queue(if you needed to put your name and number of diners in, before waiting). When going inside to ask, my sister and I have both been treated rudely by staff members who assume that we should just know what to do. This coldness has extended on a few occasions to service during the meal, when it can take ages for orders to get taken or you are not given enough time to figure out what you want. None of this stops me from heading there on a hungover sunday for bloody marys and tasty breakfast food… but my pocketbook can only take it every so often.

This a great place to have breakfast/brunch anytime of the day(up to 5pm). This is a crowd pleaser for all, though sometimes some items on the menu could be executed a little better. The eggs Benedict options are great.

Part of a chain and perpetually has a queue outside(unless you show up when they open or for dinner). The environmemt is really young and hip. The menu is comforting and the portions are huge! I deducted one star for not receiving any syrup or ketchup for takeaway. Really? You really expect me to have a bottle of syrup at home for your delicious pancakes?!

Don’t drink caffeine? The Breakfast Club is a sure fire way to wake you up… loud 80’s beats, bright walls littered with movie posters and green checkered tablecloths. It’s full on, even without the long weekend queues. I ordered avo smash w a poached egg, a side of smoked salmon and a green juice to wash it all down. The food arrived SO quickly, like almost disturbingly quickly — way before my juice — and it was all cold. I think they must leave the avo in fridge. On the plus side… the service was A-OK and the menu is people-pleasing extensive. I’d pop back if I was in the in the area and ravenous but with so many incredible cafes in London and so little time, definitely not this trip.

«Yay! I’m a fan.» sums this up correctly! I think that this place is very over rated, but at the same time I wouldn’t say no if someone were to suggest going! I’ve been here twice and not had to wait long either time to be seated. When I went last Saturday, there was a queue for about an hour but there were two empty tables outside. We asked if we could sit there as it was a nice sunny day and were told yes. We still had great service from the waiter, he was very friendly even though it was so busy. We also experienced a delicious smell from a nearby chocolate shop. I got the full breakfast pancakes, unfortunately, the potatoes were a tad undercooked compared to last time but the rest was delicious! I also highly recommend bacon pancakes with syrup and berries. Such a great combination!

Agree, over hyped. Anyone who has had brunch in north America will find this to be absolutely unspectacular fare. Not at all bad mind you, but definitely not with queuing for! Go if you can early, or if you want a neutral brunch spot, and you’ll be happy with the regular offerings. But don’t expect a brunch miracle.

Fortunately, my friend and I only had to wait 20 minutes to get inside(I heard that the wait can get up to 2 hrs!). I’m not really sure why the wait would be so long because they pretty much serve a traditional, good ol’ American breakfast and there is nothing extraordinarily unique besides the fact that their décor is themed after«The Breakfast Club» movie. Nevertheless, this place is cute and the food is good. I loved that they had vegetarian options along with a variety of sides that can come with your pancake or whatever breakfast plate you choose. It was a bit difficult to get our server’s attention sometimes amidst the energetic chaos inside that cozy space, but she was kind so no big complaints there. There are also some interesting shops and street vendors to look around in that area.

I must be the only person in London who isn’t head-over-heels in love with this place. Luckily, I didn’t have to queue when I went, but then again, I don’t know who actually would! We went on a Saturday morning and service was perfectly friendly — the interiors are quirky and fun; strong appeal to families and hipsters alike. But the food was a bit of a let-down: my pancakes were disappointingly flat, flour-y and not great. I honestly think I make better pancakes at home, so when I go out for pancakes, I expect them to have, you know, a little extra«oomph». These definitely didn’t. Glad I tried The Breakfast Club, after all the hype, but would I go back? Probably not. There are better brunch and breakfast options on offer elsewhere.

Super petit dejeuner… enfin dejeuner vu l heure. Super breakfast … finally saw the lunch hour. We took the«all american». The pancakes were delicious and homemade. Small potatoes and sausage small herbs. Hot chocolate was accompanied by chamalos. A little pricey but ok for London. In addition it makes us the morning meal and lunch. I recommend REALLY. Small flat for lattente in the cold but ca 30 min can go.

I think I’m in a good mood. Holiday season, etc. But also: I had a great brunch today. A 5-star brunch. So let’s unpack it! Some things outside of The Breakfast Club’s control were working in favour of a positive experience. Like, say, that it was a really crisp December Sunday. And it was dry. So the 40 minute wait for a table for two was actually really pleasant catch-up time with a friend. We got a table for 2 and it was busy(peak brunching, all!) but also the service was great. Someone sat us. Someone got drink orders asap. Someone else came ’round for food. And it was good. Here’s some of the awesomeness, k? — soft scrambled eggs — eggy french toast — huevos rancheros that were pretty on-point. The guacamole was weak, but that was the only point of «meh». The beans and chorizo though? DELISHCIUDAD. — chai lattes are full-bodied and creamy and topped with a little extra dusting of spice Despite long lines, big points for never feeling rushed. Oh, and for the amazing Usher /JT beats helping to add some sass to my brunch. My main ish is that if it weren’t rainy that’s an awful long line-up. Oh, and just two single bathrooms which is kind of NOT A LOT during peak busy-ness. Unilocal note: ask and ye shall receive: REALMAPLESYRUP!

If I could give 3.5 stars, that’s what I’d give. The food was solid, though nothing too stand-out. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was a great combination of a pork sandwich, potatoes and coleslaw. Having said that, I feel like the pork could have been better seasoned. Service was rather disappointing. It was slow, and the staff couldn’t have been less enthusiastic to serve. The ambience was hipster and artsy. Downside is that it’s small, meaning there could be long queues during peak times, so be sure to budget enough time. Overall, a good brunch place, but with room for improvement.

Nicer and cosier than the one in Hoxton, The Breakfast Club is always a good option for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or middle day coffee. This chain’s restaurants are usually very busy and bustling with people, but to our surprise, when we visited this one, it was almost empty and we didn’t have to queue for ages. We went there for an early evening coffee, as it is a decent coffee for its price, and also had the brownie, which they serve with vanilla cream and fresh berries and it was delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful all the time. They seemed to be having a good time doing their jobs!

Waited for about half an hour with friends for a table outside but it was a lovely day so didn’t mind. Had the green drink which was so good! Nice texture and the mint came out nicely. Did not taste too green. I had the When Halloumi Met Salad Wrap and it was great. The balsamic reduction and the sunblush tomatoes richly completed the grilled, salty halloumi. It comes with a coleslaw I didn’t eat. My husband had the Hams So Eggcited and said it was quite good; the silver dollar pancakes were not as quite as he makes at home but still decent. Our friends had the All American and smoked salmon and it drew rave requests. Good service as well. The only reason for not having a final star was because the food was very good but not amazing.

«Don’t you, forget about me…», era tudo que eu conseguia pensar enquanto entrava, sentava, escolhia meu pedido e comia.
