Lovely local pub. The bar is big with a good variety of beers and spirits. The staff is very friendly just not always very fast. The atmosphere is friendly with many locals and regulars. The food is tasty and what you would expect from a pub. On Sundays they do a roast which is good value for money.
As it is one of my locals I will god back again…

I have popped in here a few times for a drink and a couple of games of pool and I think I’ve seen the same faces in here every time I have been. Since I have known the pub, it has changed quite a few times, it is as if it doesn’t know it’s own identity and searching for one.
It has two sections, the left side is more of a comfort zone, quiet in my experience, and the right side is where the pool tables are, tends to be a little louder.
It is a decent place to go and watch the football and have a drink, nothing special or bad about it. It is just a pub, the only one in the area. A bar has opened opposite but attracts a complete different crowd.
