Tesco Metro

To be honest, I was looking forward to this Tesco. Being a resident of this area I have relied on overpiced convenience stores for a long time. However this must be the worst stocked Tesco’s I have been too. The selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, tea and dairy products is abysmal. I am not sure if they did any research before starting up in this area, which is mainly an area of young families a lot of whom have small children. It just seems to stock an unusually high proportion of magazines and greeting cards considering it is such a small tesco’s, and not much else. I hope this will change considering that the Tesco’s in Harlesden is not that much bigger and has a better variety of things, and the sainsbury’s in Queen’s Park does a lot better too. It just seems like another convenience store to me, though very inconvenient if you ask me. Thankfully we still have access to the big Sainsbury’s in Ladbroke Grove.
