This is exactly why I use and love Unilocal,to discover places like this. I had a meeting for noon and did want something not too far from Liverpool Street at a short walk to Old Street. So I opened Unilocal and found this jewel… My experience was exactly what I read in most reviews. A garden shed? What an insolite idea you would say, wouldn’t you? But this turns out to be quite brilliant, and offers a lovely time. It’s small inside, I doubt it can cope with more than 6 persons seated in. Luckily, there are tables and chairs outside, a couple of benches, and those quirky circular couches… My host had a flat white(I think, not sure) and I had a black Americano(this one, I am 100% sure). We stayed there for more than an hour, and honestly only work made me left the place. It was not too cold, just a bit windy, so I was really feeling comfortable outside and ready to order something else… This is such a great coffee shop, I definitely will go again. Warmly recommended!

This place may be small, but the coffee is undeniably one of, if not THE best you can find in London. It’s extremely friendly staff and wonderful ‘vibe’ means that you just want to return again and again. It’s also just introduced Almond milk, so for those who steer clear from dairy, it provides you with delicious alternatives. It also does wonderful on-the-run breakfasts and delicious homemade muffins. Definitely go if your craving a coffee around Liverpool Street Station!

Perhaps you’ve always wanted to take a coffee in a garden shed? With Taylor Street Baristas Shoreditch outpost, you can make that dream a reality. It’s literally in a retro-fitted(and quite cool) garden shed within a gated lane near some cool«tech city» refurb’ed offices. I happened to find myself near the sign off Clifton Street(pictured below) which called for me to(finally) grab a quick breakfast(the bircher muesli did the trick) and a desperately needed flat white. Check and check. As you imagine a garden shed might be – it’s small. However in nicer weather there is ample bench seating from which to enjoy your beverage, or they’ll make it to take away of course. A good stop for your coffee needs with a side of repurposed London real estate. Well done TSB. I’ll be back.

I made a special effort to come here one morning when I needed coffee. I say special effort as I by-passed my favorite coffee place in the area(although I did go back there to get some beans for home) in order to try the hot drinks here. Was it worth the by-pass? Hmmm. Honestly, probably not. The coffee was good. Very good in fact. It just wasn’t the as good as my favorite. I was told they do amazing Flat Whites. I’m not a huge Flat White fan, I prefer cappuccinos.(In fact, I’m still unclear how a Flat White is different than a latte. Apparently there’s a difference, but I’ve yet to have one that I can distinguish from a latte.) It’s a cute little venue which is very hard to find(unless you’re looking for it, and thankfully Unilocal has maps). There’s a nice selection of pastries, sandwiches and desserts inside in case you want to eat something as well. To be honest the food did look pretty amazing, but I didn’t have any of it. Given the proximity of this location to certain other place, I probably won’t be back, but I will keep their other locations in mind for when I’m around other parts of London and need a delicious coffee drink.

This little shed of mine, I’m gonna let it shine… This awesome shed of mine, I’m gonna let it shine… This little coffee of mine, I’m gonna let it shine… Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine… Best coffee in Old Street, i’m gonna let shine… I’m walking past Ozone, I’m gonna let it shine… Sitting in Mark Street gardens with a nice warm cup of TSB coffee in my hands and I don’t care about the rest of the world or that job that I have to go back to where I can just enjoy a nice spring day with a tasty coffee in my hands and the world has suddenly come to a pause as I sip it… I’m gonna let it shine… Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

Staff: really friendly. One girl asked me whether I liked her muffins(sadly white chocolate’n’banana is not to my taste). Other customers: idiots(one chap described said muffins as just a plate of unnecessary calories, the killjoy). Coffee: £2.20, small, watery.

Love this place. I walk out of my way every day to get coffee here. Delicious. Plus the buy 4 get 1 free makes their coffee prices very competitive.

Until I moved to London, I had never been introduced to the amazing world of Australian and Kiwi cafes and coffee. But after tasting Taylor St.‘s smooth blend of espresso and hot milk, whipped into perfection, the highly lauded Italian blends have taken a backseat to the Oz. And with a buy 4-get 1 free card, your coffee snob status comes even cheaper. If they could only work their magic with Vegemite…

This place is tricky to find but worth finding. Walk to the end of Clifton street and if you look to the right down the gated lane you’ll see a brown garden shed where you can get some delicious coffee. Standard prices(small flat white is £2.20), the food looks really tasty too(croissants, sandwiches, breads, cookies). The milk wasn’t the warmest when I got it but there was a mad rush at the time so I’m not gonna gripe. The ladies who were running the bar were a delight as well.
