Very Saucy.
Perhaps I’m more use to the trier of curries, but I found everything here to be pretty wet.
Tasty and creamy, I think Tandoori Nights is very tailored to the more traditional English taste buds, with a slight lack of depth in flavor.
The service was lovely, if a tad slow and the prices were reasonable.
I’m not very knowledgeable of the alternatives in the area, but this place is ok.

Tandoori Nights is a welcome change to much of the Indian food I’ve had in London: Light, well-​prepared food, great service, open late and excellent prices.
The key difference here is the wonderful absence of excessive oil in the curry: too often food at Indian restaurants can be too heavy, caused by excessive amounts of oil/​butter being added to fill out the curry. Here, that’s nowhere to be seen, allowing you to enjoy the array of flavours in the curry and fill up on the generous servings of rice instead.
The beer served is the usual Kingfisher. Desserts are pre-​prepared ice-​cream dishes, which my friend and I declined.
Overall, comfortably above-​average.

As a lover of Indian food, who has few options in America, this place was AMAZING. Lovely atmosphere, great service and the food was spectacular. I’m definitely making another stop here when I come back to London.

A friend had a birthday here and the staff were very helpful. The food is good and the menu has variety. The prices are comparable but this is a good small local. They are able to make some dishes that are not on the menu, with a little notice. I ask for less oil in my food which they are happy to accommodate.

From the outside the restaurant may not seem that appealing, but once inside they serve absolutely great food, and it’s one of the best Indians in the area. The staff are friendly, and always keen to make sure you know if you have ordered a hot dish, which is helpful. The gosht handi is particularly good. Prices are very reasonable, and it is always busy, but they can usually manage to fit you in.

A lovely restaurant. Unlike some curry housese the food is cooked in minimal fat and does not sit in oily sauces. The restaurant itself is small so booking is essential at weekends and on Friday evenings.
The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is intimate without the tables being too close together.
I have eaten here 3 times and every time the quality of the food has been excellent.
Would highly recommend.

Excellent Indian restaurant with a truly varied menu. Excellent décor and ambiance. Very good service and client attention. Food is extremely tasty and better than most restaurants of its type. Value for money. Highly recommended if you live in or around South London.
