Not sure why there are so many good reviews, I can understand trying to support small local businesses, but this bakery makes it impossible to do so.
The staff are not very friendly, seems they reserve this for people who fit a certain profile, very rude response as well as pulling a face (imagine an old woman with a face like a bulldog that’s chewing a wasp and you’ll be close) when asked a question about possible certain allergens present in their products.
I think it only exists as there is no competing bakery in the surrounding area and so customers are resigned to mediocre service. Basically looks good until you step inside and engage with the staff. Poor show.

Friendly service, freshly baked bread, and a wide selection of cakes and savouries, this place is always busy and the people behind the counter are just lovely. What a gem in the middle of Northfields!

An institution for me. As said fresh wonderful loaves of bread. They also have a selection of pastries, cakes, ready made sandwiches, made to order sandwiches and pastries. A lot of builders seem to head hear for lunch during the week. Yes it is a strange phenomenon and to this day unexplained so not always the best time to be browsing the shop.

Baguette at waitrose or tetote on south Ealing road.

What a wonderful bakery. I look forward to every visit. The staff is friendly and the pastries and breads are delicious. A must stop if you find yourself in West Ealing.

The queues usually reach to outside the door, and after about midday on the weekend the shelves can look pretty empty, and this is because this is one of the most popular bakeries in the area. The bread is fresh and always delicious, with a wide variety on offer, and they do really cute looking cakes and biscuits too. Good value for money and great food.

Great bakery, friendly and helpful staff. Wide range of freshly baked bread, cakes etc. All the breads are great with a wide selection. Can be busy but that’s a testament to the quality and value. Best bakery in Northfields, links in with the butchers Richardson’s and Cheddar Deli the cheese shop.

Probably the best of the bakers on Northfield Avenue. Get there early on a Saturday as there is often a queue out of the door and the shelves begin to empty.
Good range of breads, pastries, cakes and sandwiches made to order. Price is good, quality is great. Service is fast and efficient.
Go visit Parkers instead of buying the mass produced bread from supermarkets
