Still stocks a range of ethical clothes at the front of the shop these days, keeping its gorgeous vintage pieces at the back. This is serious (expensive) vintage for the sophisticated — lots of soft furs, heavy knits and substantive gowns. I spotted a beautiful long camel coat by Aquascutum but had to back away slowly after glancing at the price tag.
The girls who work here are lovely, and they will keep an eye out for special pieces if you’re a loyal customer.
