It’s not always been easy to find good wings in London but this place off Brick Lane is great. Quality meat, nice crispy skin, and a great sauce make this my favorite neighborhood wing joint in London. Definitely go for the American size portion.

Great food here. Always go when we’re out in a big group and want to celebrate something. Not too expensive so it caters to everyone but the food is always top notch. The venue also is very well decorated which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Please turn away from this place now. Visiting London from the US I was pretty disappointed when my group told us we were heading to a wings place for dinner. That disappointment only grew when we got to the place that was playing an American feed of ESPN and the menu was fully equipped with US and UK portions. I assume this place is trying to mock America but instead of being funny but with good food it was just mostly sad. I have no idea why this place has a 4 star average rating(as of review writing) after tasting the food(including the bagel burger that I am very happy to say I had never heard of before coming here and has no risk of catching on anywhere else after tasting it). Nothing I had here was good except for the service which was pleasant. Ideally that would potentially push them up to 2 stars but I feel like I’m responsible for lowering the score based on both the distasteful food and overall theme. I’ll end with what I said when I started this review, please turn away from this place now — I don’t even know why you bothered reading the whole review.

Ordered he boneless meal US portion with American buffalo and Hot chili. Portion size was a lot as I was barely able to finish it. I enjoyed the American buffalo much more than the hot chili. However, I was expecting the Buffalo sauce to taste like it did in the US. The ambiance is tries to reflect American lifestyle with a projector projecting American football on the wall. I will give it another try with the other sauces and wing meal.

One of the best wings spots in London. They have done a brilliant job bringing the American style wings to London. Would like to see more flavours, especially a dry rub lemon pepper… mmmm. Maybe just include celery and carrots with wings. Overall must try and I will definitely be back.

Amazing buffalo wings. If I’d just eaten them, it would’ve got a 5 stars. The BBQ wings were pretty spot on too. You can also get chicken breast. Don’t. The wings are loads nicer. Also avoid the jerk chicken(which I had on the breast): It’s a weird lemony, vinegary thing that has nothing to do with the acrid taste of good Jerk done in a drum. It’s a totally informal place, with a friendly, chatty owner. I’ll be back, but I’ll stick to the Buffalo and BBQ wings.

The menu is simple, you choose either small or big portions for your wings and pick between four flavours and three dips. I managed to try both the classic Buffalo and BBQ flavours, first the Buffalo, it had the perfect balance of spicy and sour tastes, lovely seasoning with beautiful crispy skin, very delightful. BBQ wings was also greatly executed, not sickeningly sweet with a small hint of smoky notes.

I read in an article that these where some of best wings in UK. They were OK. I was expecting a hip place but it was more just a step up from a fast food joint. The service was very friendly and good but the place was a bit grubby. The wings were just ok, the buffalo ones were best. They could have been a bit more crispy and the quality of chicken was not that great. Over all if you want something bit different from other fast food chicken places you would do well here. If you really know your wings and are on a mission to find the best wings I would say keep looking.

Very authentic tasting buffalo wings. Bleu cheese dressing also good. Dining is a bit too dark for this kind of fast food establishment. Owner is very nice and you can see he is passionate about his food. The sides like fries or onion rings taste cheap, mass produced frozen which doesn’t really surprise me. If you go for lunch be forewarned he seems to open at random hours. I’ve been several times and often he is closed around 1pm. The first couple times I thought he went out of business. Now I am just used to it.

«Charlotte, you need to go to Sticky Wings if you’re in Shoredtich». Wait, what? Not a curry? Seeing the enthusiasm of my friend, I decided to follow her lead, and go to Sticky Wings. And that was a bloody good idea(excuse my language). You pick your size, your sauce, your sides and get your wings served to you in a big basket. It’s not posh, it’s actually a bit scrubby. But no one can look posh with sauce all over their face, right? Definitely a place to check out if you’re in the area, and fancy something fun to have in your fingers.

There are few places that you have a bad experience but leave feeling content. We arrived at stickywings on a Saturday evening and it was busy, we were seated on a table for two as a group of three which we didn’t mind. It took a bit of time to take our drinks order but eventually we got our second choice(1st choice was sold out) when a table the right size for all of us became available we were moved. I could already tell that they were struggling this evening. We ordered a main each, I went for the American buffalo wings USA size, they do a British size that’s smaller and cheaper. Unfortunately it took ages for the food to arrive, we weren’t the only people to have to remind the serving staff that we had been waiting 30+mins. When the food arrived I was pleasantly surprised! The wings were filling and really tasty both on there own and with the dip. — next disappointment was when we made another drink order only to find out that the first and second choice was sold out??? We went for the only thing left but it wasn’t brilliant :( The thing that moves this up from a two to a three was the serving staff, both ladies were doing there very best and managed to keep up a chirpy demeanour even though it was clearly a stressful environment. I’m not a fan of brick lane but I’d probably recommend this joint to friends especially anyone from the US that’s missing this sorta grub!

Sticky wings is the only place this side of Brooklyn that delivers the authentic taste of American buffalo wings. In fact, having eaten wings in NYC, Philadelphia and NJ, I can say that these are probably better. Best option is to take a mix of buffalo and bbq, with of course really good blue cheese dip. Sit back, watch the basketball and american football and enjoy a sam adams. Or don’t and let me enjoy this place alone… please.

Huge fan of this place. Very good wings, north american style. They split the wings up so you don’t have to deal with the drumlet and wing part. Good flavours available and you can do half n’ half if you can’t decide. You can even decide to trade in the side for more wings. I love wings so I traded in my side for more wings. That said the onion rings were meh, fries and other items were better. They should get some beers on tap and serve them in pitchers… am I back in North America… Wake up! Go eat these wings!

Looked for a proper wing joint in London and found this thanks to fellow Unilocalers. Good start at a wing joint and keeping it simple which is cool. Plus: wings were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious; were standard sizes, not too small. I went for American portion(no doy) and split between the standard Frank’s and their house sweet BBQ. ESPN on a big screen so was able to catch a little Fantasy updates. Music was a good steady stream of funk /R&B from 70s &80’s — someone has good taste in the kitchen. Not so plus: blue cheese was weak; more sour cream with some chunks of BC than good strong blue cheese dressing. BBQ sauce standard, nothing outstanding. Also only 3 beers to choose from which was the biggest disappointment! No taps, just Budweiser, Sam Adams, and a Bourbon flavored beer. Overall a worthy visit but beer situation needs improving.

Wow. You don’t often go somewhere specifically for chicken wings(if ever?) so when somebody raves about the best wings place they’ve been to, you tend to take notice. Stickwings is a tiny tiny restaurant in around Brick Lane. It’s a tiny team of two people I believe. One doing the cooking and the other waiting upstairs. The place gets busy at dinner times, so it’s no surprise that the place is understaffed. There are probably only around 25 – 30 seats, meaning, if popularity keeps up, this place will need to get a lot bigger to cope. The menu is quite focused. You have wings, limited burgers and wraps. You can mix and match your wings to 4 styles, Hot chilli, Buffalo, Spicy Jerk and Stickywings BBQ. The Jerk and StickyBBQ are the best. Buffalo is not bad, but I’d miss the hot chilli as you can create the same effect with the Frank’s hot sauce which comes on your table in both hot and extra hot varieties. On the wings, they come in two sizes. UK: 6 wings. US: 11 wings. 11 wings doesn’t sound like much but it’s tough when you add in chips and drink. Suitable for a monster appetite though. I could only manage 9 before giving up. On the wings, they’re a good amount of spicy, without killing your tongue. The wings themselves should be called crispystickywings, as they have a satisfying crunch and moist meat. There are no tiny baby wings here. These are your full size wings. The place is a little grimy in a way that doesn’t add character, I didn’t get ill the following day, so hygiene is probably good. Would I be back? Absolutely. Will it get ever harder to find a seat? Probably.

A must go place for any one on a chicken wings pilgrimage. I have trawled through London in search of the best wings and can honestly say that Sticky Wings is up there in my top 3. The owner is extremely passionate about his wings, having toured America in search of the perfect recipe. The Buffalo wings are authentic down to the crisp covering and there are number other flavours that have all been created by this enthusiast. Most importantly, these are healthy, free range chickens with the large size wing and not like those little pigeon wings you can get elsewhere. The price is considerable but the portion sizes adequately make up for that. My one gripe is that the place needs more staff; in the kitchen, at the till and serving tables. You may have to wait for a little while but as a true follower of the glorious chicken wing you will be prepared to do so.

Cravings happen. When I got a massive craving for BBQ wings this week, I had no choice but go get me some delicious chicken with gooey barbecue sauced up wings. Just my luck, StickyWings is not too far from me in Lewisham. The wings came in a variety of flavours with a wide option of sauces. I went with the boneless wings with BBQ sauce. It was quite good. Only complaint is that they were huge! I ordered 10 wings when 5 would have easily sufficed. Very inexpensive and very tasty!
