Steakout

Never disappointed after a visit here. The food is excellent and the service acceptable. Try the mixed grill appetiser — our favourite. Not expensive and generally has a half price special during lunch hours.

I have been to Steakout only once. The food was ok, but the service was terrible; we felt as though we were a burden on the young chap serving us!

As soon as we walked through the door we were disapointed. The door mat was dirty and hadn’t been hoovered for a while. The floor needed a good sweep and our table was sticky!
Things did get better as our starters were lovely. We had the breaded prawns and chicken strips.
For our main, we ordered the rump steak with a mushroom sauce, vegetables and potato wedges. It was disgusting! My steak was cut in peices and this was hidden under the sauce. Both our vegetables were cold. The waiter gave us one portion of potato wedges even though we ordered two… he never came to our table to see if the food was ok or if we needed anything else.
We were very disapointed with the cleanliness, the food and the service. I would not recomend this to anyone.
