Really a good Starbucks to stop by! Short line, grabbed a smoothie and a table! A whole table to myself, it was luxurious(lol). Everyone was friendly! Would go back and get something else. Wifi was the cherry on top!

This is a fairly standard branch of Starbucks: in a great location and very visible from the street. I visited this branch as soon as it opened(7:30am on a Sunday, before a 9 hour shift) and there were two people in there already, two people following me in also. The two female workers appeared to be annoyed that there were customers already. The lady that served me only spoke basic English, while the other employee smirked in the background and stood reading a stock sheet for 20 minutes. I asked the first lady about a new product they had, if it had dairy in it(lactose intolerants unite!) and she seemed to have no idea about any of the ingredients. Starbucks in general is very overpriced for such a mass-produced good and, combined with the embarrassingly undertrained staff, presents a very average experience.

I am that American that tries to avoid Starbucks at almost all cost but sometimes I can’t help it. Compared to the other high street coffee chains, this place definitely has the best chill out over a cuppa to escape the bustle of the high street. I much prefer the coffee at Nero if I was grabbing take away but much prefer to sit here.

Standard Starbucks. This particular shop is always busy, filled with high street shoppers. The staff are very friendly and they make a killer hot cocoa especially after a wintery day of Christmas shopping. I prefer it to Nero for atmosphere and quality.

Starbucks coffee is generally overpriced as it is nothing special and you can quickly use up a tenner on a drink and a snack. I have been to this café many times out of convenience and have had mixed experiences. I often find that the staff are friendly, they were helpful when i left my phone in the café by accident, but often the restaurant itself is often not up to scratch. The toilets were really smelly when i went once and another time there were lots of flies buzzing about over our heads. I would recommend you get a drink to go so there is no danger of you having a bad experience.

Starbucks is the most over priced coffee shop. The coffee tastes like average coffee but they charge nearly £4 for it. The staff are quite helpful but can get annoyed if you make too many requests– or if you tell them there is somehing wrong with your drink. The café itself is nice enough with big glass windows facing onto the high street.
