St. Angela’s and St. Bonaventure’s Sixth Form Centre

A fantastic Sixth Form centre where two remarkable schools combine to form the mixed St. Angela’s and St. Bonaventure’s Sixth Form Centre.
Students and staff work hard together with mutual co-​operation and respect in an enjoyable and highly-​focused learning environment. Students have extra rights and responsibilities and everyone is motivated to achieve success.
Mainly based in St. Angelas Ursuline school, it does require a 5 minute walk to some lessons in St. Bonaventures School.
The Sixth Form Centre offers a post-​16 education with a wide range of courses, an excellent record of results and a supportive environment for students.
They are a Catholic Sixth Form and are proud of their traditions but they welcome a diversity of students into the Sixth Form.
Every year they aim to beat the previous years A level grades. Always striving to be the best, the sixth form provides you with the ability to study on your own as well as provide assistance whenever you may need it. The years A level results were as follows:
Further success at A-​Level where the number of A or B grades achieved by the students in the Sixth Form Centre rising again. The girls led the way again with 54.76% (28.04% being A grades) and the boys not disgraced with 43.06% (16.15% being A grades). Due to the excellent grades received by the students, every year around 15 students apply to Oxford or Cambridge University, with a high number being accepted.
On June 11^th 2008, the headteacher Delia Smith attended Buckingham Palace to receive the OBE awarded to her in the New Year’s honours list.
