Have done a number of hours of work in this place with my laptop, never rushed to leave. Used to live in Crouch End and often ended up snacking here, coffee, cake, sandwich etc. Always good. Service is fine, atmosphere is pleasant. Lots of seating outside also.

I just love these Italian delicatessens. I love authentic food sold by the natives. The thing about Italians is that they love food, and make the best sauces, and would never dream of eating it from a jar from Morrisons. They have great things to eat, cheeses, olives, breads, meats, pasta. You can eat here in the café or just use it as a food shop if you want to treat you and your family to a home made authentic Italian dinner.

I like to come to Spiazzo for the bread, which is expensive(.85p for tiny loaf) and get some homemade pesto whilst I’m at it. I don’t think the speciality goods are really that exceptional but the cheese is something else. Go up to the counter and ask the staff to cut you a slab of the Pecorino. It is salty but not too salty, just as it should be. I’m also looking to try the café soon. I might end up indulging though!

Spiazzo sells authentic Italian specialty products at a good price in a glamorous setting in Crouch End. The Spiazzo complex is a café and a food shop. There is outdoor seating available for the café. This shop sells Balsamic drizzle, Italian cheeses laid out in an open case, uncut and small pizza bread to take away for 1.50. Everything in this shop looks tasty from the packaged tortellini to the pesto sauce to the foccacia bread. I will have to try the café soon and sit outside or in one of the booths and take advantage of the staff, who are very Italian and very friendly.
