One star seems generous after my experience there. I had a 9am appointment and was greeted with a glance and the vacuum cleaner passing me by. Waited 20 minutes with no mention of why they were late, when I asked what was happening they said they could do some preliminary stuff while waiting for the optician to arrive. The person trying to use the ‘puff of air’ machine put it so close to my eye that I had to ask him to stop as my eyelashes kept brushing against it uncomfortably. With that abandoned, I carried on waiting for the optician who strolled in at 9:35 and chatted to her colleagues, finally apologising for being late.
During the eye exam the glasses that the lenses were put in could not be made comfortable for some reason so I just proceeded with a pain behind my ear.
I left without buying anything from their limited range and will not be returning. The £5 eyetest voucher was good, at least.
