so bar

So so for a local. It’s one of the most frustrating bars to go to!
I like it in here and I also don’t like it
The Good points: It’s very local to me, literally around the corner. The bar never seems to be horrendously busy so I’m served quickly and promptly. The beers and alcohol on range is what I drink so I like that! There is a good food menu with specials that are quite literally better than some posh restaurants in terms of quality (I know that sounds hard to believe but they were!)
The Bad Points: This place is devoid of atmosphere. It’s glass fronted so there’s not a whole lot that can be done but at the same time you go in there and the furnishings do not mix well and you just think that the layout, the style and the function of it needs to be completely overhauled.
This is the frustrating thing there. It’s a good local with friendly staff and owners. But the place needs a radical overhaul to bring back people in! It SHOULD be busy, it SHOULD be bustling, but yet isn’t!
Oh well!
