Solid lunch food. Pretty quick. The ingredients are quality and reliably tasty, but otherwise unremarkable. Would definitely go here again, though just for a simple lunch.

I ordered The Smithy, their classic steak sandwich, to get an idea of what they are famous for. It’s not huge, not like a Paul baguette, but the bread is very good and they are generous with the meat. I also like how it comes cut down the middle. I got it with cheese, which goes very well with the steak and I feel like should come standard– haven’t they heard of the Philly cheesesteak? (It is £1 extra). But the most disappointing part was my side salad… it had no dressing on it! If they offer dressing for their meal salads, they should definitely add it for the side salads. I’m not a big fan of raw leaves with a few tomatoes thrown in.
