I don’t know what it is with this placeI keep trying to give them business but they always have some reason why I end up going away. The people at the front are always friendly so I think that’s a positive and probably a reason why I thought they deserved the business(been to quite a few snooty tattoo shops where they are all too cool for school to be bothered), but I have not gotten work here and won’t be attempting to any more. This review pertains to the guys as they are the ones I spoke to various times. The first time I tried to get a tattoo a few years ago, it was a no. I wanted a flower, upper arm, 4 inches by 4 inches. Pretty huge right? Nope. There was a lot of hemming and hawing about how they didn’t know how it would work out but they would try. It’s SUCH a big thing to cram into such a small space. Huh??? Then they tried to convince me to get it as a quarter sleeve. One flower? Are you serious? Checked out a couple other places who both suggested getting it a bit smaller because it was practically swallowing my arm. Had it done, looks beautiful. When I next wanted work, I came here again and same story too small, maybe change the placement. Went elsewhere. I recently thought I’d give them another shot. Times change and all that. Not here. Too big for a half sleeve, maybe move it to the thigh. I give up! I don’t know whether it’s lack of confidence, lack of knowledge, lack of talent or what but it turns out they might have done me a favour. For every ‘no’ I have gotten work done by some really talented artists who have impeccable linework and mad skills. My advice is to keep checking around for people who have the skill and confidence to pull off what you are looking for.
