Chicken box for £5 is the best lunch deal in London Bridge. Tasty chicken, hummus, salad and cous cous.

After walking by this place daily for the last couple months, I finally stopped in. So glad I did!
Staff is friendly and warm, and the charming welcome was very much appreciated at the end of a very long week. Feeling far too exhausted to read the full menu, I asked for a mixed mezze… after a slight chuckle the guy served me a huge portion of couscous, salad, marinated chicken, salsa and grilled halloumi– and of course hummus! The only slight sour note was the lamb– but to be honest the other items were so fresh and flavourful I’m not even going to dock them a star.
The price was great too– so much delicious food for under £6? I’ll be back– and apologies for walking by so long without visiting!

Cold and hungry I wondered into Shrigley’s this afternoon.
What a welcome surprise!
A great little café serving tasty food at prices you wouldn’t expect next to London Bridge.
Had the marinated Moroccan chicken breast served with salsa salad, humus, couscous and pita bread. All for under a fiver!
Absolutely delicious food served with genuine warmth and a smile.
The Moroccan fresh mint tea is a must!
Definitely will be back.

Great little Moroccan place. As well as standard sandwiches, they do some Moroccan specials-​I highly recommend their grilled chicken box, which comes with salad, couscous, pitta bread, hummus and chills sauce all for £4.30. A very popular local secret for lunch!
