This cinema on Wood Green High Street is across the street from Cineworld, so both cinemas compete with each other compete to offer the lowest prices to see first-run films in London proper. If you don’t live in the neighborhood, it’s still easy to get to, on the Piccadilly line, right next to Wood Green Station.

Great cinema, always has the latest releases and because of the number of screens gives you a chance to catch up on things you may have missed. You go up two escalators to reach the entrance, and the foyer is enormous, the biggest I’ve seen in any cinema, so it must get filled with people or they wouldn’t have built it so big. Or perhaps it was intended to be another screen and they ran out of money. Very, very impressive. There is a little bar area that does standard cinema fare and a small amusements centre. Prices are very reaonable, about a fiver during the day, it’s just getting to Wood Green that’s the problem. If I lived near here I think I would be visiting every week. Screens are typical mulitplex, nothing unexpected, lights up the stairs, very loud, and deserted during the day. Good movie experiences here: Lord of the Rings 2 and The Ringer.
