Very nice place where the staff are really friendly and the food is pretty good. Without any doubt a good place where have something yummy :)

Bit expensive for my taste. The staff are really nice and they have really good quality. Great for a coffee but you couldn’t get your lunch here every day.

Nice little place in Kennington. We had a cake, an Americano and a soy latte. The cake was delicious. The coffee was horrid: Burnt, and tasted like saw dust. What a shame. Will keep looking for a place that can make coffee like the ones you find in Melbourne.

Lovely local place off the beaten track down in Kennington, coffee wasn’t great 3/5, but friendly staff 5⁄5 and a bright light space 4⁄5. If you’re in Kennington it’s worth a visit, if you can’t be bothered trekking to waterloo or borough.

My flatmate and I have been to Sally White’s place for brunch or coffee on several occasions, and I’ve only been let down once. Thankfully that was not on the food(great) or drink(okay), but the lack of space to sit, and only when it opened a few months back. Since the summer of 2013(I say that like it was aeons ago…) Sally’s café has added a little bit of gentrification(in the Observer-reading sort of vein) to Kennington cross’ selection of restaurants, cafes and estate agents. The food is solid, rich and has a lot of care put in. The cakes are top-notch, I’m told reliably that the breakfast special sandwich is to die for, but my personal favourite is the sausage roll(with healthy sized slices from the main roll, big as your arm). As another reviewer points out, the range of food is ample. Coffee is acceptable, not quite perfect(hard to put my finger on quite why…), but definitely better than your chain-shop bovril crud. There are always little bits of ‘produce’ to take away(pressed apple juice, real-egg easter eggs, bread), but at a touch higher price than I’d hope for. Nevertheless, I can but only recommend the place.

Sally White, what a lovely and long overdue addition you are to Kennington. An area that, though wildly popular to live in, has been lacking a decent café for years — not any more! A small place with about 5 tables, Sally White is light, welcoming and comfortable. The people next to us informed us that the coffee was excellent, and I can personally vouch for the tea. And the sausage rolls. And the cakes.(We stayed for quite a while…) The range of food and cakes is ample, and it all looks very appetising. The staff were lovely, knowledgeable and friendly. I loved it, and I’ll definitely be back again(I need to try the rest of the cakes.)
