We discovered this supermarket around the corner from the Holiday Inn Mayfair where we had checked in on the morning of April 10, 2012. It was wheelchair accessible and offered quite a variety of packaged meals in an area just inside the main entrance. Deals for sandwiches, chips and drinks for under US$ 5.00.
We also enjoyed the fresh fruit and veggie aisles, the British snacks and chocolates. The checkouts were quick and accurate. Just around the corner was the Carphone Warehouse and some food establishments which we patronized during our stay.
This place opened early enough for us to grab stuff before we boarded one of our tour buses a few blocks down by the Ritz.
