Sainsbury’s

I am a shopper of here the Eltham store for more years than I can remember. I find the shelves tatty alot while some Managemet In Sainsburys uniform are grafting I find other member of Management and suits nowhere to be seen. I like the space I feel free to shop and the counter staff are nice along with some shop floor however this fails once you get down to the till. The normal staff are always being pushed pillar to post that are always on till. However to many standing around till chatting away laughing and pushing each other while laughing. I find this not appealing and more management on shop floor working and maybe not chatting with them would be a good idea. And maybe the boxs and cages left on the shopfloor would be worked quicker. Also the man who I think maybe deaf Is such a hard worker not once have I gone In there and his not rushing about. Well done to him perhaps the till hang arounds need more of his work ethics

I’m not writing a review on this particular establishment. But on one particular item they sell — Victoria Sponge cake.
I’m a sucker for tea cakes and I am very impressed with their creation/​recipe. I caned the whole cake in one sitting. More than once. (Good thing the gym is across the road)

This is a good Sainsburys. I think if they didn’t have a Sainsburys in Eltham, Eltham itself would be in trouble. They have a convenient car park and the supermarket itself is pretty large, spacious and clean in my opinion. They always have a great variety and choice of food and drink. I do enjoy going to this branch, because I like the shopping environment.

I do my main shop here every week. The staff are friendly and helpful, there’s plenty of parking, free for disabled, however it’s normally very busy at peak times so best to go late or early. It’s open 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 4pm Sunday. Wish it would go 24 hour but I don’t think it can because it’s stuck in a residential area. Anyway it’s a good store and carries all the normal brands, also has a disabled scooter.

This branch of Sainbury’s has most of the essentials, though I am frequently disappointed to find that things have run out and shelves not restocked, or there are some varieties that it just does not have of certain items.
Unfortunately it is also a bit of a zoo during Saturday and Sunday afternoons and it can be very stressful getting round the aisles (though it does make for a quick shopping trip as we are not keen to linger!)
