Like the other reviews said, it’s a standard café, with a counter full of already made foods, as well as snacks, but because the guys behind the counter are helpful and lively, and the food looks good, and it’s not expensive, we liked this place and would recommend it for a quick bite. We had a slice of quiche with a side salad, and although the salad was a little dry, the quiche was very yummy. Be wary that it is cash only, and space is on the tight side.

Not fancy, but a solid, non-chain café with hot and cold foods, sandwiches, salads, quiches, soup, proper coffee, cakes… Even a few tables outside. And all within a stone’s throw of the British Museum.

Ruskin’s Café is a small café by the British Museum. I have been a few times, when passing through the area. It is in a small building. The counter is on the left hand side. It is a fairly standard place with a range of breads and fillings displayed at the counter. There is some seating inside. Outside there are more tables. They sell a range of snacks and sandwiches and so is suited to lunch. The food is fairly standard in quality; tasty enough, but nothing to write home about. The staff are pleasant and the service is fast. Ruskin’s is a nice place to stop for tea ans a sandwich when it is sunny.
