Had a beer, pretty standard. Throughly enjoyed a bit of unisex bathroom action though

Located in a busy area of Soho, giving it a prime location for people watching, both inside and outside of the bar! Inside is a large open plan space and always packed on the weekend. The music being played is always good and the ambiance equally as good. Drink prices are as you would expect for central London, in other words don’t expect a bargain ;-) Toilets are upstairs so ensure you can climb a full set before you have drunk too much.

A down to earth and casual bar located on Rupert Street, Soho. Rupert Street Bar is a venue fit for anyone who prefers to have a drink at a bar with an over 21s sense of feel. Due to it’s sheer size, there’s never an issue with the amount of space around you whilst stood up or even with gaining a seat on either a plush sofa, cushioned stools or benches dotted around the venue(as well as chairs outside for the summer months). One of the positives about this bar is that the music when played is never too loud nor too cheesy and there is a down to earth adult feeling to the bar, so, if you’re one that looks for a gay bar with a more mature atmosphere then this one sure ticks that box, however, having a more mature atmosphere sometimes takes away the livelihood of the venue. Biggest Win: Being able to have a chilled out, relaxing drink without too much of a fuss in a casual environment Biggest Downfall: The queue at the bar over Friday & Saturday night leaves you sometimes not wanting to grab a drink as frequent. ***3 star rating for a bar with an adult atmosphere, decently priced drinks and somewhere to sit yet lacks character and may have you queuing for a short while longer than other places around***

It is a good place to have an expensive drink with friends. Although, I will admit that the interior is nice, I felt like it was«soul-less». Going on a Saturday late afternoon prevented me to fight with the crowd I usually see when I walk by. The staff was really nice. Personally, it is not my favorite, but I can see how some people might like Rupert’s buzz.
