Lovely collection of shops!
The shopping centre is located in one of the most beautiful building… Absolutely stunning!
The shops and restaurants contained within is very high end and expensive. However what you expect!
A lovely spot to relax and unwind after a long day!

Die Royal Exchange hat schon echt etwas sehr Nobles und Ausgefallenes.
Das Gebäude beherbergte die erste Börse der Stadt London, brannte zweimal komplett ab, wurde zweimal wieder aufgebaut und ist jetzt Treffpunkt und kleine Einkaufsmeile (für Letzteres braucht man aber ein sehr gut gefülltes Portemonnaie).
Das Zentrum bildet der überdachte und lichtdurchflutete Innenhof, mit vielen kleinen Bistrotischen, an denen bestimmt schon der eine oder andere Millionendeal eingefädelt wurde.
In den Arkadengängen hat man Shops der gehobenen Klasse untergebracht, LV, Gucci, Sage Brown etc.
Wenn ich beruflich in London bin, treffe ich mich hier gern mal mit Geschäftsfreunden.
Die Bedienung des Cafés ist eigentlich immer recht flink und freundlich, die Preise sind allerdings wie erwartet recht weit oben angesiedelt.

Apparently you do not need to be near a sea-​side town to enjoy great fish and chips!
Having passed the Royal Exchange a trillion times, I thought it was only for ‘business men’. I was recommended by a colleague to take a friend who was visiting London. Had the best fish and chips I’ve had in the whole of the UK (and that is saying a lot). I now come regularly to meet friends after work either to eat, for cocktails (which are delicious) and drinks or just a coffee after work.
Its a grand building, open space with high ceilings, a piece of London history.
Prices are very reasonable. Would absolutely recommend.

A grand location for planning your next big deal; that’s what everyone around you is doing in any case. You’d best be suited and booted if you don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb, and it’s not the place for a cheap coffee. All that said, if you are correctly camoflaged, and wish to soak up some of the hubris, this is a pretty good spot to people watch. Staff are friendly and efficient too.

Cet endroit est un véritable oasis dans le quartier financier de Londres. La plupart de leurs clients sont des hommes d’affaires et les employés des banques. Royal Exchange est juste à côté de la station de métro Bank et d’ici on peut aller voir Bank of England, Lloyds of London, Leadenhall Market et plusieurs autres sites touristiques. Votre café sera un petit peu plus cher que l’on paierait normalement, mais il le vaut. J’ai été très confortable assise à une table en tranquillité et complètement entourée de boutiques de bijoux les plus exclusifs au monde Cartier, Tiffany, De Beers, Theo Fennell, Boodles etc. (Elles né semblent pas recevoir de nombreux clients!). On m’a servie un chocolat chaud pour £3. Les prix varient de £3 (EUR3,50) pour un Américano à £4,50 (EUR5) pour un verre de vin maison. Le chocolat et le service étaient impeccables. En bas se trouvent des toilettes de bonne qualité propres et bien stockées.

a classy place indeed, right opposite the bank of london and just as grand. The café on the ground floor is a great meeting place during work, and the place feels amazingly light and airy considering it’s bank in the middle of the city. Coffee, breakfast and light lunches look like the staples here, and there are some high-​end fashion stores around the edges of the main lobby. Worth a visit if just for a quick coffee to soak up the atmosphere.
