This is by far the most modern cigar shop I have been to — rather minimalistic but I’m sure that the high-​end interior will be to some peoples taste. There is a large sampling room and they have a good selection of whiskeys (I did ask but they are unfortunately not allowed to serve them in the sampling room). Certainly a place to go if the more historic cigar shops in Mayfair are too old-​school for your liking.

Whoa. Talk about swank. This newly opened shop is the latest among the Mayfair/​St James’s gang of awesome cigar shops. compared to the others (all of which are fab), Rothman’s is obviously less historic, features the best of mod cons and is perhaps the most luxorious retail setting in London for sampling cigars.
I was forunate to pop in during the Qype Cigar Walk and I expect to return there very soon to sample a cigar in style!

A bit on the impersonal side with it’s minimalist shockingly red décor Rothmans Of Pall Mall is still worth a visit.
If you fancy a good cigar there are probably better places to visit (Davidoff and Sautters spring to mind) but no-​one can compete with their smoking room, one of the few places in London where you can step in off the street and ‘sample’ your cigars while lounging around in their white leather chairs.
