Rockarchive is the brainchild of photographer Jill Furmanovsky, who created the website
in 1998, with the idea of making both her own and others rock photography more accessible to fans and collectors.
A decade later, rockarchive is a worldwide name in photography stores with branches in major cities all around the globe. This is the Chelsea branch, located on the ever Sloaney Kings Rd.
I really like this store; i could never imagine being able to afford any of the photographs, but harbouring a dream to be a rock photographer myself it’s like research to peruse here, My only complaint is that the staff seem rather elitist.
Check out their website for the catalogue of bands that they have prints of, some are simply beautiful and inspiring. Jill certainly did something right, and her popular brand is testament to this.
